Who remembers Lolly/ie? Scary child-woman English singer from back in the day. Well, quite a few years ago. I bought both of her two groundbreaking albums on cassette.. heh.. Yes, I also remember my friends anticipation at getting the next issue of Girltalk because they knew her real name and were giving it away one letter a week or something ridiculous.

As I am still a teenager, I will admit that the only really bad thing I might regret musically in a few years is joining the Black Parade and wearing a matching jacket for their concert. I also really like T. Rex and am very, very close to convincingly looking like a glam rocker. This I will soon regret without question. But T. Rex are awesome I agree on that. However, being a glam rocker is a thing few forget and most regret. But hey, velvet goldmine is somehow inspiring. I love how T.Rex lyrics compare girls to cars... I don't see how 'built like a car' is a complement, really.

I went through a T.a.T.u phase. tATu are fucking nang. What does that even mean? tATu are amazing. Still making consistently exciting, innovative, world-changing pop music, despite the general public's staggering indifference. Yes, I also remember my friends anticipation at getting the next issue of Girltalk because they knew her real name and were giving it away one letter a week or something ridiculous. They did the same thing in Smash Hits. Anna Kumble, for the vaguely intruiged. She presented CBBC for a while, and refused to do nude scenes on her acting agent's website. Not that I, erm, looked or anything. Lolly was grand. 'Big Boys Don't Cry' is still an awesome song. Please know that when it comes to pop music, I HATE irony, or at least what a lot of people misterm irony. I genuinely like the majority of Lolly's output. Particulalry 'Scooter Boy'; 'How do I get to know him? Do you think he'll give me a ride?' - she was a kinky minx, so she was. Cheerio, Michael. xxx

After posting that i listened to about 6 songs off the first album. I even sang/wailed along. T'was fun. They copied the song 'How Soon Is Now?' by an old band (The Smiths?) Actually rather good.

As much as I love tATu, their cover of How Soon Is Now? (yes, by the Smiths) is fucking throat-slitting material.

90s was legendary i mean, come on Vengaboys! My friend drunkly stumbled into his local club the other night in Ipswich and was greeted about 10 minutes later with the Vengaboys; apparently they're doing somesort of reunion club tour. I was so jealous.

Ha They copied the song 'How Soon Is Now?' by an old band (The Smiths?) Sorry if anything was worthy of a smite.. Being young is no excuse for being ignorant to basic musical history. A fan of indie music not knowing who The Smiths are, is a bit like a member of the general public not knowing who Elvis or The Beatles are, get it sorted!

When did Rhiman ever say she was a fan of 'indie' music? She likes Tatu for Christ's sake.
I wouldn't be able to recognise a Smiths song if I heard one either, although granted I would probably have looked it up before posting about it.

We should actually get a classroom and dodgy M&S cardigans. It would be wickedcool and all our students would get As or WE WOULD BEAT THEM SENSELESS.
