Avril stole that song! and her other one. whatever it is called. The Dixie Chicks actually have some good stuff, I think I put one of their songs on my CD exchange thing. But you would never guess it was them. The Killers new stuff is better.

I don't regret any of the music I've listened to. I used to be quite obsessed with the Killers, like in 2003. I even wrote to their manager and got the EP, I've never done that before. I still like them, although I haven't heard any of their new stuff. I in fourth/fifth grade I liked the Dixie Chicks and they got me into country music, like the real stuff: Porter Wagoner and Loretta Lynn and Patty Griffin. I haven't listened to them in years. Avril's music I don't mind, pop"punk" is fun cause its catchy.... hey hey you you i could be your girlfriend. music doesn't always have to come from the heart. I still love The Killers. No guilt here.

I *cringe* liked Razorlights first album, my music taste seems to have really changed in a very short space of time

I don't think I have ever heard Razorlight. I've heard of them. I might have heard a song. Did they have a hit or something?

I hated them at first.. then I saw them then live at Leeds 2004 and was impressed so I bought the album on a whim. Oh the shame. I even thought Johnny Borrell's "arrogant" interviews where funny..
I guess I found the whole White Stripes/Strokes/Libertines/Franz indie revival quite exciting after some grim years of nu-metal and Radiohead rip offs galore. Then I got carried away and given the next (awful) wave of mainstream indie bands to much of a chance, I think I tuned out of mainstream guitar music entirely about the time the Arctic Monkeys came out. The Kooks where the final straw.

I still like The Strokes with no shame. They are nice, really. Nothing too deep, just fun rock.

The first Strokes album is fantastic.
Shame they where basically one trick ponies.

I like all the albums excluding some songs. Almost every artist I like has a song or two on each album that I don't like though. Their first album was definitely an exception that general rule.

Yes, I still like the Strokes. Nothing wrong with them, but it's not like they could ever be a favorite.

I recently emptied out my "drawer of embarrassment". It was full of late 90s pop stuff, which apparently I loved way back then.
I went through a Blink 182/any other pop punk act during my early teens. Then I changed to Greenday. Then I started listening to the music I like now.
Hooray for musical evolution.

I then moved to Roxette. That's mildly embarrassing, but I can still listen to it. They had a song called "Dangerous" ... my sister and I knew every word and used to play just that song all the time. But that was when we were really young. As for bad music I used to listen to....nothing too embarrasing...the usual boy bands (oh and I still listen to Westlife, so no worries to whoever said it), Canadian brother band (answer to Hanson) The Moffatts, and another Canadian band called Serial Joe who wrote alright songs but the singer had a horrible voice, but I didn't care because I loved him. His name was Ryan Dennis (well, still is I suppose). He sent me an e-mail wishing me a happy birthday when I turned 14 since I was on their message board and blah blah. I think it was probably the greatest day of my life at that point.

Slipknot, Korn, Metallica, HIM, Evanescense, Blink182, Sum*41, Good Charlotte, countless black/death/speed metal bands. SO many more.
Not that I regret any of them at all.
And I DEFINATELY don't still listen to some of them from time to time*
*may be a lie.

Green Day really got me interested in music. Jesus. Before that, even, I went to a Westlife show with my aunt and cousin. The shame.

Westlife are good! Them and Blue. I liked Blue. Oh! And 5ive!!!
Yes, I love the spelling of "5ive" ... but then people started spelling it "Five" and it was just wrong.
