Hm. Not as a teen, I am still a teen. I liked Jump 5, and whatever that band was that they used to have a TV show to make that band or something, and it was called eden something, dunno. They had this song like "what's good for the goose is good for the gander." UHH...

I enjoyed all your typical NME fodder when I was 14 - Kaiser Chiefs and their 'crew'.
However: I REGRET NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!*

Avril Lavigne was my hero for a while. How terrible.
Also Good Charlotte and New Found Glory.
Also shouldn't this be in the common room? It can spark discussioningz, ya know.
EDITZ: REMEMBER THAT FAKE BOY BAND 2GETHER? Well at the age of 7-8 I didn't realize they were a parody. And I thought they were real. And I loved them.
ALSO I used to like the Arctic Monkeys.

OH. I loved Avril. I forgot about that. Now she is just pathetic, stealing her songs and all.

When I was around seven I liked Westlife, Steps and S Club 7. There is no music of recent years that I have liked and that I regret now, but I don't know whether I will be saying something different in a few years time.

So far I don't regret anything I've liked since about 16 years old.
And Avril Lavigne?! Nooooooo. The one day, out of nowhere, I was visiting my dad for his birthday and he just said "Avril Lavigne should die." It made me laugh for ages.

I hope I don't regret any of the music I like now. I remember when I was little, I loved ABBA and U2 and Bob Dylan. I started liking Radiohead at about 11. Teehee. Radiohead still equals love for me.

When I was really little, about 4, my favorite band was The Beatles. That's not embarrassing though. I still love The Beatles. I then moved to Roxette. That's mildly embarrassing, but I can still listen to it.

I've always hated Avril.
When she released 'Girlfriend', a group of my friends were talking about her and saying like "She used to be so good, she used to write and sing from the heart and now she has sold out and gone mainstream and OMG I hate her". I was laughing oh so hard on the inside.
Edit: I love Placebo.

I saw Slipknot live at Leeds fest in 2000 and while I would never listen to them at home now or then, I retain it was a very fun, theatrical and energetic show i have no shame to say I enjoyed.
When I first got into music I thought any indie band was by definition well cool.. I liked Kula Shaker, Shed Seven, Sleeper, Ocean Colour Scene, Dodgy all of that..

I don't regret any of the music I've listened to.
I used to be quite obsessed with the Killers, like in 2003. I even wrote to their manager and got the EP, I've never done that before. I still like them, although I haven't heard any of their new stuff.
I in fourth/fifth grade I liked the Dixie Chicks and they got me into country music, like the real stuff: Porter Wagoner and Loretta Lynn and Patty Griffin. I haven't listened to them in years.
Avril's music I don't mind, pop"punk" is fun cause its catchy.... hey hey you you i could be your girlfriend. music doesn't always have to come from the heart.

I still like all the music I liked when I was thirteen. I just like a lot more music now.
The first CD I ever bought was Dead Kennedys - Give Me Convenience or Give Me Death. Good job, thirteen-year-old self. Fond memories.
I still think Jello Biafra is amazing.

avril, pink, kiss, iron maiden, good charlotte, razorlight (urgghhhhhhhhhh !) and i used to be into the whole old rock genre (hendrix, the doors etc) which i find really boring now though i still love david bowie and a bit of marley sometimes I went through a brief Zeppelin/Pink Foyd phase. Also a brief Guns 'n Roses phase. Kinda lost interest in the first two classic rock hippy bands there, but I have to admit, I FREAKING LOVE AXL ROSE. He's just such a terrible lyricist, and such an asshole, and he has cornrows now, but he's always had that voice and swagger that is fascinating to no end. The man is just hilarious. I also went through a huge old school punk rock phase just about 3 years ago, where I loved the Ramones and The Clash and the Sex Pistols. I still ADORE the Clash, though, and The Essiential Clash 2 Disk Set is still one of the coolest CDs I own.
