I have been doing arm exercises as an effort to tone up and be healthier, as I do no exercise. My sister said something about my arms the other day and then yesterday my boyfriend said oooohh check your arms out they look good these days. I thought they were being silly but I just looked in the mirror and my upper arms look toned and there's the tiniest set of guns ever. Not sure if I should do it too much or I will have muscle arms haha. It's funny how quickly it changed though, I've always had undefined arms, like twigs. Well, if you have hardly any arm fat, muscles will show up very easily. I happen to have the boniest arms ever and my fat concentrates in undesirable places. So, I am also trying to build up armsitos. We should get together and lift weights. Or maybe just have a wolfboard weight lifting party.

Haha, no offence to Peckham but the high street usually does smell a bit rotten. There's lots of butchers there and so all you can smell is meat and probably old meat juice. Beautiful. Peckham is okay but the atmosphere often feels a little volatile. I'm glad I didn't get a job there that I applied for. I actually felt a bit bad for saying that about Peckham but yes, as muh as I would like to take it back I cannot. And the shops there sell the weirdest things as well, it was quite an experience I have to say. I'm glad we couldn't find a house there. We are moving and yesterday I packed the majority of my stuff and realised that I have bought almost no clothes for a year....well I do love my comfy old clothes and I hate pointless consumerism but I have a feeling that I might look a bit too much like a hobo sometimes.

I was having dinner out and a lady approached, asking to take a photo with me. It made me feel very, very uncomfortable. She tried to make me feel guilty for refusing to take a photo and the man she was with acted like I was ridiculous for not taking a photo with a strange lady. I did not like this at all. Has anyone ever had a situation like this? Am I unreasonable?

What, she wanted a photo with you or wanted you to take a picture for her? If it's the latter that's not particularly odd, but the former is! Why did she want a picture with you? That's quite odd, and i'd've been reluctant too.
Those people just sound a bit bonkers, Erik, i wouldn't dwell on it too much.

How bizarre! She obviously mistook the restaurant for the entrance of those supersized Abercrombie & Fitch's.
Sounds completely reasonable refusing to anyway.

i would've asked if she could take a picture of me standing next to the flash on her camera.

Yes, Rhi, she made it pretty clear she wanted a photo with me. I asked why, and she said it was because she thought I was cute. I outright told her I was not comfortable taking a photo, so she told me I could just stand next to her and she would promise not to hug me or anything. I said no a few times and she left.
Luckily we were just about to leave the restaurant because I really wanted to get far, far away at that point. I think I am pretty silly for letting it dampen my very good night, though.

What an absolute weirdo! You are very cute, but she obviously just had severe delusions about what you can and can't do in public! How very odd.

I know at least three of us will attend: ME, YOU AND JAY.

Allison, why?! Is that a regular occurrence in India? Taking photos with strangers? I'm assuming that you stuck out like a sore thumby thumb for so many to ask you, but still. These are both much, much better responses than what I said, but I was just too creeped out/stunned. i would've asked if she could take a picture of me standing next to the flash on her camera. I would have charged her. Cheerio, Michael. xxx

My friend was just in Cuba with her friend and everyone wanted to take pictures with her friend because she is blonde. That's a bit odd...
My day: I went to see Prima Donna, Rufus Wainwright's opera. I'm pretty sure I really am not sure whether I liked it or not. It was.... interesting. The caption in Tuesday's paper after Monday's premiere performance was "Prima Donna is a joke, right?" and that is about all I can think after leaving it.
Maybe I just don't like opera? It was my first one...

I have an interview for an amazing job!
But the interview is in London. And it's on Friday. So it's expensive, and really short notice, and now I'm not sure if the Jobcentre will pay my travel costs and they won't do that without contacting the company afterwards which, I don't know, feels a bit weird, doesn't leave a great impression. And now I'm all panicky and freaking out and can't really ask my Mum for help because she is CRAZY and....
Can I interest anyone in... some... action figures? Fifth Doctor, mint on card, only two hundred pounds, a bargain.
Cheerio, Michael. xxx

I've spent about seven hours on wolfboard chat today, this morning and then this afternoon.... this is both good, because I talked to pretty much every single person on the board at one point, and bad because I didn't get much else done today, other than a double history lesson and baking cookies. Eh. Oh wolfboard.

Oooh the wolfboard chat. Sounds fun! I'll try to join it once my exams are over!
Today I had the English exam. This is hilarious...no one understood where the main character of the text was born because the text was so badly written. Or badly chosen. Or because we're French and our English isn't that good. I think I understood it correctly though. Usually they choose texts that are understandable, or excerpts were you can understand what's going on. So I came out of the classroom quite pleased with myself because I'd managed to put in "to jeopardize", a word I never use, and "nonetheless" and "nevertheless" and stuff and everyone was like "So was he born in India or in the USA?!!". I even saw my teacher and he was saying that he went "WTF" when he saw the text(litterally...he said WTF...not the abreviated one....I said "What the hell" to stay polite but he said it was completely "WTF" XD).
And now there are Facebook groups about Amit, they guy who was born...in India or in the USA? Hahahaha. This totally made my day. And at the same time it didn't because everyone thinks they failed, but it's funny XD. (the text is an extract from Unaccustomed Earth by Jhumpa Lahiri)
Also, I'm so tired I wrote Lancaster instead of Langford without even realizing...random....why Lancaster though?!

Work experience day 1 was better than I expected, which is good! There's this awesome little girl called Evelyn and a few other kids I really like who're nice. But they never shut up, and I'm so not used to so much noise without any kind of escape. Also, I had to listen to them read. I tell you, trying to explain to a four-year-old why 'giraffe' is spelt 'giraffe' is so hard. He just sat there telling me it was a 'g' not a 'j' so it couldn't be giraffe. Argghhhh. And small children are so tiring.
