I am never happy with the back of my head. I just got a haircut 3 hours ago and I've already cut a bit off.
And then realised it was just sticking out not long. To quote Lawrence, I never learn.

Oh I know what you mean with the sticking out hairs. I accidentally do that to mine or Lew's hair when I cut it. But then it looks okay. I'm not the best self-hair cutter but at least it doesn't look like a wonky bowl when I've finished, so that's success right?
Was I smote for talking about hair salons, or for talking about my boyfriend having dinner with a gay old man? It has to be either of those as I'm totally non-posty these days. I am curious.

got a new roommate. she's pretty cool. her mom is here, too, for the moment. and together they are INSANE. oh my god they talk so much, over each other and into each other and it is so overwhelming. she's like my mother, in a way, only instead of being bipolar, ashlee's mom is a stoner. high-powered, skinny, 50 year old moms, represent.

I just saw on Facebook that someone has ripped the wing mirror off of my ex boyfriend's mini. I expect he probably thinks that I did it because he really pissed me about last week and I had a go at him. I know it's petty and stupid but I am kind of pleased someone actually crossed the road to get to his house, walked up his drive way and pulled his wingmirror off. I am a bad person.

it felt like summer today and i was reminded what "seasons" are (i've been wearing trousers since. . . well, all year). the heat was a nice change - for about five minutes, and then i was sweaty and hot and uncomfortable and scared of being sunburned. i'm so ill-suited for weather besides foggy.

I have been promised tickets to go see Jonsi 'for my birthday' in November (which I really want to go to!) ...and i'm really hoping it doesn't clash with the time set for my college trip to Barcelona (which I DON'T want to go to!) I know what's most important to me but I think everyone is going to disagree with me.

Everything can wait for Jonsi.
That reminds me: Belle & Sebastian. My friend and I are buying the tickets today, and I don't want to sit in the expensive part because I'm almost-broke and really, I'm imagining Belle & Sebastian just gently sway while they perform so we won't be missing out. He's the kind of person who would rather spend money than be slightly inconvenienced, which is fair, since he has it (via job and rich parents). I am the opposite. In any case, he strikes me as a "BEST SEATS AVAILABLE NO MATTER WHAT" type of guy and I hope he realizes my dismal financial state.
That being said, I hope our tickets aren't like, row Z of the side gallery. We could also be behind a giant pillar depending on what's still available.

First day of art college was chaos. I think I'm going to have so many things to do and so little time to do it. And I seem to have been overlooked by all the 'interesting' people again this just assures me I must be dull. I've enede up with a a couple of rather shy boring people. I think this calls for an insane outfit :/
