On the opposite hand, I tried smoking last night for the first time - it's really shit! I'm now fully confused as to why people do it. It's just... rubbish. It is. Tastes rough. I dont understand how people can do it enough to get hooked.

is that the one where it's like
x+y^2=(x+y)(x-y)?
I'm learning about the product rule and quotient rule when differentiating. It's not as hard as I remember. I have the hard module on Friday.
Also, that crab is such a badass.

I have no idea. I meant the one that was like what you use when the equation = 0 haha. OH WELL. I have no idea what you are revising and you do. That is good. GOOD LUCK CHUCK.
Do you think he's even breathing it in? Hhahaha

kind of giving up smoking. by accident. On the opposite hand, I tried smoking last night for the first time - it's really shit! I'm now fully confused as to why people do it. It's just... rubbish. I tried smoking for the first (and last, if you don't count the occasional doobie) time at 14/15, I did it all wrong and got called "Duck Arse" for most of my remaining school career. (I agree with you Florence, I don't "get it". Like drugs and booze.. I understand smoking? Not so much..)

Yesterday I spent 5 hours walking around South East London and as much as I love parts of SE I never want to go back to Peckham High Street for example, it smelt like someone was rotting. But today I woke up with all my muscles feeling happy and fit...but my shoe has a hole in the sole now and I have a blister on my littlest toe.

seeing new pornographers and a friend i haven't seen in a while, simultaneously.
while both were lovely overall, the former physically wrecked me for some suspicious reason and i'm oversensitive to everything the latter says so i think i took some neutral comments negatively. it really made me miss him. i keep having to realize that no one person has everything i need to be fixed- not a boy, not a therapist, not a singer. i don't want to be indifferent. i just want to be peaceful. i'm sick of overanalyzing.
also, why the hell is it that i can't go to a show without everything hurting afterwards? nobody was moving around a whole lot and i still feel like a tornado picked me up. this happens at seated venues, too. it doesn't change the sense of serenity i get from seeing people perform, but it's an unwelcome side effect. i can never get to sleep when i get home from stuff either, not til like three, so if i want more than four hours of rest i have to skip school which i feel kinda bad doing. whatever.
to level the bittersweetness of this post, the musical aspect of last night was absolutely awesome. cute banter, good opening bands, neko case's voice, that guy with the cello, all the members of one of my favourite supergroups. and new pornographers = the fleeting presence of dan bejar! he kept leaving the stage and coming back with different kinds of alcohol, which struck me more as genius eccentricity than laziness. dude's such a badass.
tldr: i find teenage boys complex and the new pornographers entertaining

at coffee shop this morning among the hipsters, ran into a friend. a half black/half palestinian friend - she was raised in the ghetto but speaks arabic too. then in came a woman in a whaddyo call them veils? whatever - muslim woman. rakiya started talking in arabic to her sister about lord knows what but i heard the words 'sandnigger' and 'terrorist' - and they were talking in reference to the muslim lady. anyway - made my day cause it was hilarious but didn't cause i was embarassed the whole time they were talking about well, sandniggers and terrorists - in arabic.

Haha, no offence to Peckham but the high street usually does smell a bit rotten. There's lots of butchers there and so all you can smell is meat and probably old meat juice. Beautiful. Peckham is okay but the atmosphere often feels a little volatile. I'm glad I didn't get a job there that I applied for.

I have been doing arm exercises as an effort to tone up and be healthier, as I do no exercise. My sister said something about my arms the other day and then yesterday my boyfriend said oooohh check your arms out they look good these days. I thought they were being silly but I just looked in the mirror and my upper arms look toned and there's the tiniest set of guns ever. Not sure if I should do it too much or I will have muscle arms haha. It's funny how quickly it changed though, I've always had undefined arms, like twigs.

I sort of kneel on the floor and do press ups (not completely, sort of just using the weight from the top and middle of my body, I do like 10 of those in a day, takes about a minute) and I put my arms behind me on a chair, with my feet on the floor then lower my body up and down (using all my body weight) does that make ANY sense? My friend gave me a video but the message has gone But I did it for about a week and it made a huge difference already.
