^They happen every Saturday Haha, thanks for the heads up I didn't realise the finale was next week! I'm going to be in London, I hope I can watch it from my Travelodge. I like James Corden! He introduced Paul McCartney like so: (He wasn't calling Macca shit, I can't remember what he said completely but it was a nice intro haha)

It really is awesome. Last time I did it, I went down to dinner at the gastropub under the cheapy hotel late, and explained why to the waitress, and she made me explain the episode to her haha.

Erm... the one with the angels I think? With the men in the woods and the big shining crack and such, but it might have been part one of the two.

I agree.
I now know that Steven Moffat is a genius... on paper a Dalek/Cybermen/Sontaran/Judoon/Silurian/Auton alliance sounds like a parody of classic who fans awful fan fiction but he made it work as a cog in a larger story construct rather than fan wank. Amazing... and we still don't know exactly who the big bad is..
So much to comment on.. I'm sure I'll be back later. Really wonderful.. a thousand things you could write essays on and I went into it knowing what was inside the Pandorica thanks to unintentional spoilers but still this was just purest brain candy.
"Hmmm... an evil alliance that forms up saying it will solve all the problems but is just making mistakes and getting in the way of the good guys. Sounds familiar" my friend said this on Facebook and I just had to nick it haha.

BIG BAD = DOCTOR OR AMY!
I didn't understand how they're gonna get themselves out of that, but it was good! That man who is squat and and tanned and has half a face is HILARIOUS and i can't take him being scary seriously. But yeah, exciting! I watched in in HD though and that made it shit.

I feel like there's something wrong with me, I thought it was a load of cack.
Loved River, liked the idea of using different elements from all the episodes at the top end - Churchill, Liz Ten, et al - but don't think it made enough sense to justify it. Thought the bit with Cyberman was brilliant. I can't say enough how much I LOVE RIVER: any character who can get through five outfits in as many minutes is pretty high on my list, especially when one of the outfits is Cleopatra. And 'HELLO SWEETIE' is certainly catchier than 'BAD WOLF'.
But I was bored. Mostly during that stuff with Amy and Rory - I don't know who you are, I'm crying, now I love you, now I'm INEXPLICABLY A ROBOT - it just wasn't hitting me. And there were entire scenes of people just wandering about, waffling on, and nothing was happening, and everyone seems to be over the moon with Steven Moffatt and his GENIUS PLOT and GREAT EPISODE and I just don't know what they were watching because I wanted to love that but I think it was awful and boring and didn't make any sense, and I'm an RTD fan and can forgive those things in a second if the emotion and the character is there, but it just wasn't: Moffatt's Doctor is an absolute cock - this quirk for him missing thing annoys me the most - and there's so much potential in Amy that just hasn't been made good on.
Kind of genuinely cut up about this, think I might need to see a therapist.
I care way too much about TV.
Cheerio, Michael. xxx

I thought it was brilliant... At the beginning, and then I went from "this is sooo good" to "noooooooo why are they doing that?!! Don't kill Amy!". And then I don't understand how all the other soldiers were basically transformed into killing machines but Rory could resist? And now I'm all sad because the Doctor's locked up and I don't get it. And why the Judoon are with the Daleks when they're supposed to be the space police?! I really liked this episode, I was wondering what was going to happen the whole time and now I can't wait for next week, but it made me sad =(.

The Judoon are basically a hired mercenary police force. They could've been employed by any one of those nasties. I was near tears at the end whatwith the Doctor's pleas and whatnot. I'm reserving judgement on Amy until we see the results of next week's finale. I've been convincing myself that the her criminal under -charactherisation is the result of anti-foreshadowing on Moffat's part. In that, I mean, were Moffat to give her a fully fleshed out backstory, then anyone with thumbs could figure out where her arc'll end and that's not cricket really.....

Robot Rory's ability to resist and retain his artificial human personality was forshadowed in Victory of the Daleks with that scientist chap. This also seems to be a foreshaowing of the Alliance with the Daleks using Auton/Nestine tech. Deft writing. As for the Judoon, you have to remember that the Alliance's goal is self persevation rather than overt evil. They believe the Doctor is going to destory all of space/time. Considering the Judoon are allied to the Shawdow Proclaimation pretty much the main body of galactic justice and order, you'd imagine they'd find that prospect a.bad.thing! There's a few races involved who aren't out and out evil; Judoon, Silurians, Draconians etc. I think it would be cool if they'd been some "goodies" involved like say the Ood or even Captain Jack.. it would have been effective to see him stood by the Daleks all "so sorry Doctor" as he was loaded into the Pandorica.

People seem to have forgotten that - the last time The Doctor met the Judoon - he took off in his TARDIS for a Facebook meet up and declared war with the Daleks. They were probably a bit miffed, tbh. well unless dr who is taking a few years break someone will come and rescue him. so the lack of ood, captain jack etc. might mean that. so are we finally gonna learn who river song is? i worry that it will be some disappointingly silly/unrealistic/soppy ending like season 4? where no one actually died and it was so cheesy i was sick.

Oooh ok thanks for the explanation guys! At the end, I thought River was going to die because it looked like the Tardis was going to explode (or maybe that's just the quality of the image I had XD? There was a blinding light anyway) but then I remembered today that can't be possible because she dies in the library! Um yeah, pointless for those of you who figured it out already but it made me happy XD.

Yes but at the end of Time of Angels/Flesh and Stone, the Doctor remarks that time can be rewritten in direct response to River's involvement in affairs.
I predict a curveball as Moffat has never been an A-to-B writer and is somewhat known for his capacity to swerve his audience.
