Since we have fans in the house.
I was quite impressed by today's episode all though I thought It was getting a bit predictable at the start. It had the Geezer from The League Of Gentleman, plus references to one of my favourite poems The Hollow Man by TS Eliot AND Spinal Tap, so you can't go wrong really.
With every episode it becomes clear Martha really is super humanly fit *dribbles in a most undignified fashion*.

I heart Doctor Who. I used to hate it when one of my friends pointed out to me on one of my tirades 'why the hell are you taking it seriously?'. So I didn't and I realised what fun it is.
Todays episode was great I prefer this new assistant lady (Martha right?) to Rose, who was a bit too floaty. Its amazing. David Tennant was hilarious as usual, I don't know what it is, his facial expressions just have me cracking up. Yay they killed the big mutant thing! I should shut up now.

I actually loved Rose, but i have to say Martha is a much more likeable and independent character.
Alot of The Doctor Who episodes do remind me a bit of Buffy knockoffs, today i kept seeing likenesses with Graduation Day and the Mayor as the giant snake, but thats just me and my lengths of geekdom.
The episode in two weeks looks mega.

I keep being told off for pointing out the similarities between episodes of Doctor Who and episodes of Buffy / Angel / Firefly, because science fiction only has a limited number of plots. But behold the last episode of season one; a clear cut plagiarism of 'Primeval', down to the shoddy special effects on the uberBillie. Although the Whedonverse never had FLYING DALEKS I still watch it, though. It's ridiculous. I'm such a whore for the companions. I loved Rose forever, and Sarah Jane is awesome to the max, but then Martha came along and won me over and now she's amongst my top five best things in the world. Cheerio, Michael. xxx

I only started watching again this series, even though I was rather keen on Doctor Who as a nipper, mainly cos I didn't have much access to a television since the Beeb brought it back. I think I only saw one episode of the Christopher Eccleston/Billie Piper ones at a mates house and quite enjoyed it. Tennant is miles better though, I utterly love him, it's the side burns and the quirky playfulness.
I'm the only one old enough to remember being allowed as a treat to stay up and watch The Sylvester McCoy ones?

Martha is no Rose. I miss herrr.
And despite thinking nobody could replace Eccleston when he quit, Tennant is miles better.
I love Doctor Who!

I'm an old skool and new skool fan. This episode was Quatermass (heh, NONE of you are old or geek enough to remember that, unless you saw the remake) plus Eliot plus loads of UST and sexual subtext. i.e. awesome. The Doctor fondles Martha's knickers, goes down on her and saves the world with his giant organ. Martha for the win!

Knickers: Cunnilingus - oh look Martha, the wires I need to fiddle with in Lazarus' machine, which is ever so tight, and in which we are stuck, are located between your legs: Large organ, which he turns "up to 11" using the sonic screwdriver: Then the Doctor and Martha disappear into the TARDIS for a shag:

*sniggers* I love that photo montage....... =D I love Dr. Who, but I personally wish that there wasn't such emphasis on the sex-with-assistant right now.
