If you're into minimal electro then be sure to check Paul Kalkbrenner (Berlin Calling O.S.T.) & Apparat. Just search them on youtube and you'll find various good tracks.

I feel I should try to add to this - although my music taste is quite mixed. I don't know if I can offer what people don't already know, but I will try Parenthetical Girls - Safe as Houses. I'm no good with genres, so I don't know what genre it would fit into. I think it's better than the most recent one 'Entanglements' in the way that I found it far easier to get into. Owen Pallett [Final Fantasy] (pretty well known though) Has a Good Home is much less orchestral than the rest, so maybe that's a bit safer. Very clever man, really. Beirut, which may also be obvious, but a large mix of genres and possibly a challenge to get into but I fell in love with it after a while. The Flying Club Cup might be a good starting point there too. He has a new double set of EP's though, which are fun. Teitur - I only have 'The Singer' but it's quite nice and relaxing, sometimes cheesy and about falling in love a lot but it makes me smile anyways. Simon Bookish - Everything / Everything (I don't have any of his others, but I did like this one) That will do for now - I reckon their myspaces won't really do them justice though. A lot of the time artists myspace don't represent an album very well, when they mix the tracks from a few different ones and they lose the 'feel' they should have. Maybe?

saw them recently, they were pretty good.... not as good as THE PHANTOM BAND though! i saw them last night, and just came away completely amazed. best live band i've seen in a long time, no doubt about it.
