Mr Fogg. A bit different to what i'd normally immediately go for, but the song 'Seciov' is becoming a bit of a favourite of mine after it appeared on my mp3 as one of those preloaded songs.

I've been skeptical just because of the amount of hype surrounding this band lately, but I went to see them yesterday and it was amazing. www.myspace.com/wildbirdsandpeacedrumsAwesome live, quite good recorded.

I highly recommend the new Stills album, Oceans Will Rise: Myspace is here, and there's a link to listen to the album on Much Music....I'm not sure if it'll work internationally, and I don't even know how wide the album release is (they're on Arts and Crafts), but all the same, you should listen. DINOSAURS may be my favourite Stills song, ever. www.myspace.com/thestills

Old Splendifolia! www.myspace.com/oldsplendifoliaHugely pretty and simplistic, and surprisingly obscure, right now. Cute, blunted female vox, lots of wandering guitars and occasional, unintrusive beatz. Yes. Makes me think of quiet streams, goldpanning and what-have-you.

At the moment on my "top 20 Most Played" list on my mp3, Patrick Wolf is battling to the death (oh, Battle.. how I can't wait!) with Harvey Danger. Grown-up pianopop/ oldskool alternative rock www.harveydanger.com (You can download their latest album, Little By Little, for free on their website. Really, they say so! and... Rasputina. Nostalgic cello-industrial. Who'da thunk it. But it works...

When I was getting ready to go to work earlier, Channel 4 was on and that Orange Unsigned Act was on and there was a band called Arthur Rigby and the Baskervilles playing. Even though it's only like a two man band, they arrange really nice backing music. Check out www.myspace.com/arthurrigby

She covered "Anyone Else But You" and it made Kimya Dawson so violently upset she wanted to vomit. True story.

Fleet Foxes - check them out, they have amazing harmonies, similar to Grizzly Bear I'd say.
