I prefer a lively crowd anyway, I hate it when no one's moving at all and I just look silly having a big dance on my own! lol I have no shame, if I like the music I WILL dance and sing. No iPods in class for me then, I cant help it. ;D guys...are we related or sth? ;D I don't even know - and don't want to know - what I look like when I start dancing and hopping about and stuff... but it's always fun ;D need some of that...soon! next concert hurry up!

I put on the charts when I'm reading in the living room. (I dont wanna kill the rabbits ears by putting the radio on in the FUCKING fdfghjkKITCHEn) Chart music in my head is very samey aswell, it is just club-like backing music with very little/boring lyrics. I like it when I'm walking down the street or in the bath and i finally realise what the songs about or even a part of a song. I cried at the end of Divine Intervention when I finally understood it, I was halfway to my friends house. (Don't ask me to put what its about in words... I'll ruin it and jumble the meaning in my head) Also auto-tune is a pet peeve of mine, if you cant sing live, fuck off! Obviously if its used as an effect or to make the song sound better it's fine. The Childcatcher is a great example in this case, like Patrick could of just made his voice go deeper to make it scary but the electric-ness makes it more freaky. I'm jealous of all the instruments you can play. Talented so-and-so! Haha, i'm not actually that talented - i haven't really played my instruments in like 2 years so it'll probably sound terrible when i next play them! I can't even play the bass properly and i wasn't that great at guitar. Sorry, i'll stop being so modest! I used to not be able to listen to Divine Intervention without crying - it's probably the most powerful song i've ever heard. And it also brings back so many memories of the Palladium show (it was the opening song and that was the first time i ever heard it), which was probably the best night of my life (yes i'm that much of a sad obsessed fan ) cat, there are posh areas in glasgow? I live out in the suburbs (like 20 minutes from the city centre) and my town's supposed to be posh It's called Bearsden (you probably won't have heard of it). Yeah, i don't think there's anywhere "posh" in the city centre Sorry to butt in but this may be appropriate Don't worry about butting in or anything, i know there's only a few of us that normally post here but everyone feel free to join in When i was 14/15 i used to really love Dirty Pretty Things (Carl Barat's band - he was in the Libertines before that but i never liked them because i didn't like Pete Doherty). Anyway at their gigs everyone would always push forwards as hard as they could, and i was always at the very front so i'd be crushed against the barrier and have to shove as hard as i could in every direction to avoid being crushed to death. I'm surprised i actually got out of there alive! And afterwards my muscles would be aching and i'd be covered in other people's sweat and beer. That's my only experience of rough gigs, at the other gigs i've been to everyone just stands and listens nicely I prefer a lively crowd anyway, I hate it when no one's moving at all and I just look silly having a big dance on my own! lol I have no shame, if I like the music I WILL dance and sing. No iPods in class for me then, I cant help it. ;D guys...are we related or sth? ;D I don't even know - and don't want to know - what I look like when I start dancing and hopping about and stuff... but it's always fun ;D need some of that...soon! next concert hurry up! Haha yeah, i sometimes find it very hard to stop myself from dancing when i'm listening to music on the train/walking home But i can only ever dance when i'm on my own because i feel really awkward trying to dance in front of other people. Especially at clubs because i never like the music they play so i have to pretend to enjoy it while awkwardly trying to dance without looking like an idiot (I'm such a pathetic student ) Yeah i really need some gigs this year, i have none booked Patrick needs to do a tour soon! Or a show in London in the summer to give me an excuse for a trip to London

^well, there's that london festival thingy? :/ anyway, i'm also waiting for a tour. and march just looks pathetic, regarding gigs. april is alright, but nothing compared to april last year. in general i'm still not happy how 2012 is butting along. what a shit year!? i'm a horrible dancer and i avoid clubs when i can. i only dance after a certain alcohol input, because then i don't care how fail i look. in any case i'm always just glad that i don't have to see myself, a club with mirrors as walls would be pure horror! i don't mind people at concerts just standing there, people enjoy music differently and some might just be there for whatever reason and not because they especially love the band. BUT then don't stand in the front! don't force your way into the front if you're just going to stand there, staring, without any participation at all. gosh i hate those people. they're ruining the fun of the actual fans. ney, never heard of the posh glasgow suburbs. then again, i don't really understand the trains there, so i wouldn't accidently end up there. (seriously, glasgow trains? shitastic) my doctor who dvds are in transit. they're in rüdersdorf already, so if i'm very lucky they arrive today, but latest tomorrow! *does awkwardly weird chair dance of happiness* oh this should go in, what made my day. oh my

I was thinking of going to that festival but it would probably work out far too expensive Because it's during the day i'd have to stay over the night before as well (and i don't even know what time Patrick would be on at), and the tickets are more expensive because it's a festival. And you don't seem to be able to get cheap advance singles to/from London any more, you used to be able to get some for about £20 (i once got one for £9!) but now the minimum seems to be £40 each way (And that's with a railcard discount, my railcard expires really soon so i'd need to buy another one.) There's also that festival he's playing in August further north but you don't seem to be able to buy day tickets for that. Yeah, 2011 was the best year i've ever had for gigs but it looks like i'll be lucky to get even one this year Yeah it's kind of boring if people just stand there and don't dance but there is a difference between dancing and pushing!!! Seriously at DPT gigs no one ever danced, they just pushed like crazy! And it's hard to dance when you're being crushed to death Sometimes i feel awkward trying to dance (but usually only if everyone around me is just standing there), but i usually go crazy and sing all the words and scream etc (Although there is a video where for some strange reason i appear to be staring intently at Patrick's knees while he's playing Theseus!!! ) When i saw Patrick in Edinburgh no one was dancing or even singing along to the songs so i felt really awkward standing singing never mind dancing. I think it just depends on the crowd. You'd have to get one of the low level trains from Glasgow to end up where i live The low level trains don't normally go as far, and they go through town instead of stopping/starting there. And the high level trains normally go to other cities and stuff - they go north from Queen Street and south from Central. And the low level trains go east and west. And there's also the subway, which just goes in a circle round the city centre. I get the train so often i'm pretty much a train expert now

AAAAAAHH, didn't know about that one "further north"!! Yes, distinct lack of day tickets but it's not that far from my university town, this is potentially exciting if the rest of the act annoucement can justify the ticket price...

You can totally buy day tickets for Beacons festival now! I saw that - i'm thinking about going, it will work out cheaper than the other festivals he's playing but maybe i should wait and see if he announces anything else first. And there's also other problems like i don't know what time he'd be playing, and train tickets don't go on sale until 13 weeks before, so i think i'll maybe wait til nearer the time to decide. Also it would probably be really difficult to meet him at a festival (and i need to meet him of course! ) I'm going to Sicily tomorrow! (well 6am on tuesday, we're driving down to Gatwick tomorrow) I'm very excited about the food - i'll get to have pizza and pasta every day ;D (i have an obsession with Italian food ) So once i'm back i'll start spamming this place again, it's been too quiet recently!!!

I'm very tempted to go for it too! He's playing Summer Sundae in Leicester as well (as is Dan Mangan!), but a) there's no day tickets yet and b) they're the only two acts I REALLY want to see and you can't even tell if they're on the same day And I really want to get to Leeds (if I can force any of my friends to go!) and see The Cure as well... Oh, decisions! Determined to actually make a festival this year though haha Have a lovely time in Italy! My bit of England's all rainy at the moment so I'm very jealous!

We've had crazy weather recently as well, we had a heatwave in the last week of March and the next week when we were away it was snowing here apparently! So that's probably us had our summer for the year It was warm in Sicily though (except for the last day when there was a storm and we got absolutely soaked on our way to the airport!) Thanks Nat, and hope you're having a good holiday Faye

HI tribe! How are you? I'm a new entry, yes I am. Don't ask me why I never wrote before today, I just don't know. I was too scared and my english is too bad, but I will try anyway. I've got already a mission for you all. Do you know if someone of the tribe lives in Tintagel? Thanks to the Wolf I fell in love with Cornwall and I will go there to work during summer.I'm looking for friends there!Do you think I will find some little wolves? And how many wolves live in the board? Is there still someone who is writing and chatting here? I would like to know you! I've always dreamed of having a tribe!

At the end I will not leave..too many problems and I am terribly sad for that..I wanted to go in Cornwall, it's a magic place I hope I will go there soon, I completely fell in love with the region when I first saw it..it's Patrick's fault! Nice to meet you Chelsea, what's your name?

me too. we're neighbours Italy was nice. except for the rain, no heating and le me having to make fire in the fireplace... looks like I should opt for Sicily when the weather keeps being an ***hole for the next years But we had sunny days too and nothing can beat eating italian ice cream in the sun ;D and it was well green and flowery down there, so I should stop complaining okay then I go on lamenting that there are no Patrick dates for Germany (yet) buhuhu... summer really won't show up this year...

Hi 3lise, welcome to the wolfboard Aww that's a shame you're not going to Cornwall any more, i hope you get to go there soon. I'd love to go to Cornwall someday, i'm so in love with the song Penzance so i'd love to visit the town. And i'd love to go to Godrevy Point and Teignmouth... <3 Italian ice cream is amazing! The strawberry ice cream actually tastes of real strawberries Guess what - I'M GOING TO SEE PATRICK IN AUGUST!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D I couldn't wait for him to come back here so I'm going to see him at Beacons Festival (since it was the only festival that didn't work out far too expensive). It will be my first festival (unless you include that thing in Princes St Gardens a few years ago where there were 3 bands playing and it was filmed for T4). I'll be all by myself so i shall need to find some wolfies to befriend me I also have a trip to London booked ;D I'm going to see the Gipsy Kings (i've been listening to them my whole life, they were the only band i liked until i was 13 - i'm so weird ) I saw them for the first time last year in London and it felt like i was fulfilling a lifetime ambition. I found out they were coming to London again this year so it gives me a good excuse for a trip to London ;D And my aunt who lives in Oxford is coming with me I'm so happy, i was starting to think i might not get to go any gigs this year! Don't worry Faye, i'm sure he'll come to Germany soon (you seem to get loads of PW gigs so i doubt it will be long before he's back ) Maybe that acoustic tour will happen

^ yeah otherwise we'll just drag him here and held him hostage until he plays us a gig (maybe last year was a bit too much of our neverending enthusiasm...? I regret nothing. Not a single front-row-gig-experience and singing along very loudly and presumably off-key ;D )

He seems to put up with fangirlism rather well (at least he doesn't seem to mind the fact that i'm pretty much a stalker ...or maybe that's why he went to Edinburgh instead in October! ) (Don't worry i'm not really a stalker, i just turn up to gigs very very early )

You should teach me how to be a real good stalker! I would like to talk with Patrick but every time I see him I Get Stuck and my mouth doesn't say a word, I don't know what to do and I get completely emabarassed. What a shame! I think I will go to Ancona to see him, but I hoped he would chose some more beautiful cities to play in!
