alright, why not i somehow don't get the buying second hand autographs. to me they're so un-special as they were written for someone else... but i might be a tad strange in that...

I wouldn't have bought it if it said "Dear (some random person)" but he just put his name + drew a picture, so it wasn't personal. And I was looking for the CD anyway, so I thought why not get a signed one (and it was half the price of the others!). And I had nothing signed by Owen so I was rather excited to get it I would prefer it if he could personally sign something for me, but I'm happy to have this in the meantime. Besides, I have a signed Vulture poster + a couple of CDs from other bands that are signed but not personally to me (you know how sometimes when CDs are released you can get signed copies from a certain site). It's not as special as a personal message but I'd still prefer a signed CD to a non-signed one (as long as it's not addressed to a random person or anything!)

I still love my Köln (2011) ticket signed by (almost hihi) the whole band and Patrick himself: "To Naomi Wilma, Love Patrick Wolf" (at least I remember the "love" but I haven't my ticket in reach...so maybe I'm only imagining things haha )

for a second i was ranfused and thought owen had signed with 'patrick wolf' it would be hilarious though... @catriona, true dat, i have a couple of signed ones as well as they were released like that. what i actually meant was when people pay ridiculous sums for something that is signed, just because it's signed, and you'd perfectly well get the same item for a normal price, unsigned. (i had some leftover commas that i just threw in. d'oh.) other than that i gotta admit that i'm a horrible person i baked a cake for my boss (who's turned 40) and will place a big fat 50 on it as he's been so whiny about turning 40.

I was like wtf why does she finally admit it? until I read the 50 bit, haha ;D I'm going back to work now. I'm one of the best organized persons in the world btw. in case anyone of you hadn't already noticed... the problem is: I only feel threatened by deadlines when they finally transform into the pissed e-mails of the person who waits for my stuff to behanded in. and that's when I get started YAY!

noo...it's just it all took heaps of time to do that f*cking stuff...and now it all was for nothing - well it looks like it at the moment - I hate teamwork, never works. they hate me, I hate them now - why bother at all and not do it all alone from the beginning? and the eremit went back into his cave...end of story...oh shit it doesn't work like that...what a shame

well what did you expect with me onboard? hehe well sorry for wallowing in self-pity again, but I love to abuse this place for letting off some pressure, far too much the weather is bad...don't like it... I guess it's for the best to stay away from this thread until my charlie brown life crisis is over again...

It only could happen in british-german cross-cultural encounters that people actually start talking about the weather...couldn't it? lovely! haha ;D anyways: the weather here is mixed, it already starts to get cold after sunset, bit of rain, but in general it's quite nice. my charlie brown life crisis (gonna use that from now on whenever life kicks me hehe) isn't quite over, but my bad mood is. we premiered a play today and it was amazing! god I love premieres, could have them each weekend! feeling so proud of "my" actors hehe blablabla I stop here before I get emotional about it

;D Oh dear... I've ben giggling about this for minutes now! It made me think of one of Owen's tweets:
"owenpallett Some cute folks just thought I was James Blake so I signed his name on their records"
...and just to find this I spent half an hour reading old tweets... I really should get to work now!

It only could happen in british-german cross-cultural encounters that people actually start talking about the weather...couldn't it? lovely! haha ;D Everyone talks about the weather in Britain, especially when trying to make small talk! I think we just like to moan about it, or maybe everyone's just unimaginative
