(Victoria, is one of those the song that you(?) said would be a massive hit if he released it?) From what I remember, they were both really good! I remember the latter more, and it was really poppy/catchy... This was in that odd space between TMP and The Bachelor, though, so maybe they both just didn't fit anywhere.

I have an instrumental track called Fog Fields and it sounds like Volcano Radio & Oil Slick, but i'm not sure it's 100% Patrick's work, cause i found it on some strange site with free mp3s... anyone know something about it?

I've never heard of Fog Fields either. I just googled it and it came up with a load of download links but not much information. In all the download links it's called "Patrick Wolf - Fog Fields" and it's listed as a PW song in some places, but I also found a site (i think it's an old version of this forum actually) where someone said: "i think it's been established that this isn't actually a patrick wolf song. i don't know who the original artist is, where this came from or how it came to circulate labelled as a patrick wolf song. as far as i know it has nothing to do with him." patrickwolf.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=pw&action=print&thread=3428I can't any proper evidence that it is or isn't a PW song, does anyone know any more?

probably because someone wanted to gain more popularity for their song? at least, that's what people used to do back in the days of p2p filesharing programs like kazaa, etc - label their song as a popular artist so people would download it by mistake...

they were back in the day when patrick was a lot more involved in the running of his site, so he or his manager scanned them in and posted them.
