the only romantic encounter i have ever had was in primary 2
a boy who was a total bully and ate crayons (then threw up red) gave me a valentines card and chocolates and asked me to dance at the valentines disco
i said no, and when i got home i ate the chocolates and ripped up the card
it was a mortifying experience.

when I was about 7 or 8 a boy used to chase me off the school bus every day, trying to kiss me. I wasn't interested. One day he caught me, so I ran home crying and told my mum. She thought it was funny, I was less than impressed. I personally blame this event for all my problems, ever!

Well..not immature enough to have a stupid primary school relationship 'proper' Unlike some people i know. So what are the 100s of relationships you go on about constantly on here then? Fictional relationships? I don't have '100s of relationships' and i don't 'constantly go on about' them. Perspective, Josh.

Perspective, Josh. Exaggeration, Rhianne. It's a dramatic effect. Man I have a hard time not typing "Rihanna" whenever I address you.

I liked a guy, my friend knew him, she told it to him (I didn't want him to know that), he said that he would talk to me. He never did and started to ignore me. And thats that. Nothing funny happens in my life, yay!
And it wasn't even a funny story, omg

Hahah these stories are ace! I don't really have anything exciting because I can't stand being around...people xD I've already decided I'll live a spinsterhood with plenty of cats!
But there is this one story that took place when I was about 12, I went away on holiday and whilst I was away my friends decided to ask this guy out for me because they knew I liked him and wouldn't actually do anything about it. He said yes (god knows why) so when I came back and heard about it I was not impressed and I sent my friend to sort out the mess she'd put me in...So she phoned up his house and his mum answered. When she told his mum who was calling she found herself with a very excited mother on the line saying - ' Is that -----!? Oooooh I've heard about you. I'll just go and get him for you!' To this day I'll never forget the look on all of our faces (it was myself and two friends in the room at the time and we could all hear the call) We've always wondered just what it was he'd been telling his mum about my friend... =3 She was incredibly embarassed and a little bit scared...
As for letting people down 'gently' yeah I've done that, back in about year 9 of school, so I was about 14/15 years old, this guy I had to sit by in French supposedly liked me, I walked into English one day and all of his friends were like - GUESS WHO LIKES YOU! And he was standing their all embarassed, as to which I replied 'Eeww no I think I'm going to be sick, god why!?' I sure have a way with words....

'Eeww no I think I'm going to be sick, god why!?' I sure have a way with words.... You and me both....that is shockingly similar to my story's punchline. I glad I'm not the only one who responds with "ewwww!!" ahaha.

Looking back I should probably have felt reaally guilty because he wasn't a bad guy... Oh crap and its just dawned on me that I used to majorly flirt with one of his best mates in those English lessons! And this is why I'll end up alone ;D I'm a bad person.

Disgusted? My goodness. You are why I fear life.
Letting people down easily ISN'T easy, for either party, but you should at least try...

Oh god I'm terrible for insensitive rejections.
One time there was this guy I was sort of seeing, and he'd call me pretty much every night and we'd talk for ages etc etc. And then one day we were talking and he said "...I love you." And then there was a slight pause. And then I hung up on him, and I never spoke to him ever again.
Not as bad as this other guy I knew who actually faked his own death rather than dump a girl. Not even death, suicide. She thought he'd killed himself until about 6 months later when she bumped into him in a shop.

That man is a genius. An undeniable coward, but it takes something special to pull off a stunt like that

Yeah. People kept saying how awful it was, but damn. I have a special kind of admiration for him.

Haha, and he actually thought that would work? Knd of good work though.
Well, I havnt even had a relationship yet.
Well, not if you count that one when I was 7 and I asked a boy i had never actuallu spoken to if he wanted to be together with me. Haha, we never spoked after that either BUT we were a couple until.. well, we havent officially broken up but. How could we if we never talked to each other?
Not funny though, more sad

being the social leper that i am, in the past i had a few internet "relationships"... one of them being thebezofdoom (this is his "handle" big laughs and hijinks), from london. who was a lot older than me, i think i was 16 but i'd known him for about four years through mIRC, oh the big laughs and hijinks.
anyway, a few months after we started going out, we decided to meet up omgz, and he showed up at the train station wearing a crushed velvet turtleneck sweater thing... it was odd.. and he had really tiny hands and he was bald. apparently he was 22.
we sat in awkward silence in the car on the way to my house and had several hours of the awkward silence in the living room at home and he suddenly proclaimed he wanted to cuddle me. i said no.
we met up a couple more times, with a little bit more talking but nothing really worth mentioning, and after i got back from dropping him off at the train station, i told my friends he was awful and i didn't want to see him again.. and they persuaded me to text-dump him, which is pretty bad in itself.
but then he phoned me, and started crying like a huge girl and saying that he loved me. i was really perplexed at how he actually could love me, since we didn't really have any conversations, we just sat there, and in the middle of a long pause, my best friend lauren yelled "IT'S BECAUSE YOU'RE BALD."
then i hung up.
erm, another one would be my first kiss with my ex-girlfriend. as some of you are well aware, the time i stayed with her i had a really bad infection in my wisdom tooth thing, whatever, anyway.. i was in a lot of pain and couldn't really speak, but codeine is good to me and enabled me to talk and even eat sometimes. as we were getting ready to go shopping after a long morning laying in bed talking/cuddling, she bumped into me and said in this cute little shy voice: "i know your mouth is kind of fucked, but can i kiss you?" i almost fainted but i said "yeah", hoping to sound cool and nonchalant but in reality i probably slurred and maybe even drooled. so she nudges me to the couch in her room and i sit down, and then she kneels down and takes my face in her hands and leans in, and i lean in, and thwack... i bump my teeth against hers like an absolute fucking wally and end up whining in agony.
needless to say we didn't attempt the kissing thing for a wee while.
