Chloe. I had a pretty high opinion of you before hand, but fucking hell, you've outdone yourself. OOIOO are amazing. What album(s)? Green and Gold is my favorite by far! after that, Kila Kila Kila, and I haven't decided what I think of Taiga yet. You? Green and gold is amazing. Feather Float has a place in my heart. Be Sure To Loop is a classic song

Ravens & Chimes are fantastic. Yes. I might order some of their stuff online, right now I only have some mp3s I've downloaded from the Hype Machine. I can send you the link to their album.

[watch the one for Hands/be amazed.] I have a lot of Four Tet love, but unfortunately it doesn't translate live. I saw him at Connect last year briefly, but left after twenty minutes because I just wasn't feeling it and Rilo Kiley were on.

Ian Cooke www.myspace.com/iancookeQuirk and beauty cello-based with wonderful vocals. His album is pretty much flawless and "Music" must be the best opener for a CD I've ever heard. I wish he'd get more recognition.

www.myspace.com/alessimusicAlessi has the fucking cutest voice ever... it's a little like Joanna Newsom, a little like one of the CocoRosie sisters, a little bit like Shelby Sifers. You know. Toffeeish. I thought I'd call to say I think you're nice. Some things are better sung than said. I'd like to walk around in your head, to dangle solar systems above your wicker bed. All I am is a woman.

Andrew Jackson Jihad fun name too! Haha! No way! These guys are from Phoenix, and I see them around at local shows all the time. I'm pretty sure they go (or went) to ASU, since will see them now and again on campus. I totally had no idea that people not from Tempe knew about them... There can't be TWO Andrew Jackson Jihad's in the world, can there?

I went to see Basia Bulat tonight. She had a cold, but still sounded pretty great considering. Really high-energy, fun show. She felt bad she had a cold....she really did sound sick, I don't know how she sang so well. BUT the opening artist really caught me as something special. I guess she's solo but she had an amazing percussionist and he voice gave me chills. I'll admit at first I wasn't sure what to think. Anyway, here is her myspace: www.myspace.com/katiestelmanis

www.myspace.com/thedeadbohemes I really like this band. I saw them first during a 3-days-long music festival. They're not very famous here in Germany but they make good music. (oh, and it was the singer who "showed" me Patricks music... I was on his myspace profile and there was the Tristan vid... ) I like "The Scene Is Dead" and "Dirty Units" most. maybe you'll like it =)
