Ps. this was really fun to make.

There are already THREE threads discussing this.
I don't find this necessary, but whatever, go on.

I'm sorry, I did realise that. But you know what it gets like on here, with Patrick-centric stuff like this. When everyone's discussing it all over the place, and it goes round and round in circles, and no one really listens to anyone else, and it descends into chaos and we don't get anywhere. I thought a vote would be more fun. And make it easier to see how people really feel and all that. In summary, tryin' to make it neater, not messier.

LIKE WHEN MY BRUNO/PATRICK WOLF BIOPIC THREAD GOT DELETED. Yes I still wear the scars of that epic battle upon my heart and soul.

How much repeating of themselves can people do? And hey - that ad for Bruno with him in the lederhosen was all over the place for so long and the only thing I could think of when I saw it was Patrick Wolf.

why would anyone want Patrick to read the wolfboard more often? This is a bad plan.

Haha I voted for the first one and then the I love wolfboard and tea ones. I was a bit embarrassed to be a fan at first but thinking about it for a while I'm not. I just hope this whole thing can blow over soon and be forgiven? Hopefully? It is as it is as it is as it is.

I was gonna make this thread! I voted for a few options, but my computer's acting unusually slow and i can't be bothered to work out which ones. The ones you'd expect from me.

I would love for Patrick to read that thread and find out what his fans think of him. I don't think he's very in touch with the fanvibe.

I'm not sure this forum really represents Patrick's core fanbase. Sadly that would be the braying idiots who make excuses for him being violently towards women and even cheer it on.
The reason he acts like this is "because he can" simple as that. He is a spoiled child with the keys to the sweet shop of ego fulfillment and attention. Violent is apparently only bad when it comes from "football bouncers" and school bullies, if you're a mincing homosexual stereotype then it's fiiinneeeeee.

I would love for Patrick to read that thread and find out what his fans think of him. I don't think he's very in touch with the fanvibe. I completely agree. That's why I included the "I wish he'd visit the wolfboard more often" option, really. Y'know, especially after me and Rhi handed him over that birthday gift from the wolfboard, which everyone put so much effort into, and he was such a lovely guy to our faces... It just seems wrong now. If I met him again I'd have so much more to say to him. Actually I feel like a bit of an idiot for being fooled that one time... Meh, whatever. Maybe he would think twice about the defiantly unapologetic things he wrote to his fans on twitter if he knew that two-thirds of the fans who voted on this thread want him to apologise, and over half feel saddened and disappointed by his actions. Maybe not, because only 31 fans actually voted so far, but hey! Half of them want a cup of tea, so all is well.

Oh I don't think you should feel like you were fooled because you thought he was nice! I'm in no way supporting his behaviour, but I don't think that it makes him an unkind person either, he just did an unkind thing. I've met and spoken to him a couple of times and I've not have the impression that he was anything but sweet and thoughful. (Though I think I need to point out that I am NOT claiming he's perfect) I think this has just been blown a little bit out of proportion, which is easy to do. Also, I voted 8.

Oh, I know... He is a nice person. Everyone who has met him and knows him says he is a nice person! Then I met him, and I thought he was a lovely person too. All I meant by it was… Well, before I met him, I guess I held him in a certain light... after the "quitting music" and causing a drama and throwing a hissy fit and having a go at his well-intentioned fans/ the wolfboard and then not apologising to them and attacking his drummer and firing him on-stage and not apologising and then throwing a bottle at a fan and not apologising and generally acting drunken and violent and unapologetic, and telling Josh he needs to visit a prostitute (...actually, that last bit was amusing enough to be forgiven). But yeah. I'm not "attacking" him or blowing things out of proportion (it happened, and no offense but when fans play the "blowing things out of proportion" card, it just reeks of denial), I'm just saying: he'd already come off the pedestal for me a looong time ago. And then all this happens, and it reminds me how silly it was to edge towards putting him back on it, just because he can be charming to people's faces. I mean, everyone can be nice when hugging adoring fans in a queue outside a venue and meeting them at Team Wolf-organised events and frolicking with them in the sunshine at festivals.. that's a no-brainer. Put ya best camera face on. What if I'd have met him backstage after his set at the C-O POP Festival? I'm sure the crew and his team and his band weren't quite so filled with love and admiration at how charming and lovely he was. " The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy." Yeah, I quoted Martin Luther King, I went there

Yeah, I quoted Martin Luther King, I went there Oh shit, i'm screwed then, aren't I? Haha. I don't think the fact that he was lovely THEN affects how he's acting now. He is obviously a nice, caring person. However, he clearly has problems sometimes, and doesn't know when being righteous just turns into being violent and/or aggressive.
