nice, patrick... perhaps it was because he was incredibly off his face and he threw his shoes in the crowd and didn't get them back? who knows.

Because I'm a massive sociopath and poor to boot, I didn't go to this. Quelle surprise. Are there ANY decent audio recordings about?

Hey lucky6, that's a superb video, let us know when you've got magic position up there. I just wrote a review of both the event in general and Patrick's performance for my blog, with pictures. If you are bored have a look here (there's also a short review of wednesday's ghetto gig): jonathandean1982.blogspot.com/ I actually really agreed with what Patrick said about ignoring the BNP, I thought the whole spirit of the event was a bit misplaced. I didn't hear any homophobic comments duirng Patrick's set, but for some reason it doesn't surprise me that other people did! Thanks doctordean. Enjoyed reading your blog. The Magic Position is up now: www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zx7kWlaATgIt's actually an 8min30s video and starts with Accident and Emergency. Tristan to follow shortly. Great photos Mirr-Murr! Must have been great down the front - I love your in-yer-face Tristan video! I was thinking of uploading the originals - or at least mpegs - as the originals are very big VOB files. Even rendered as an mpeg Accident/Magic Position comes in at around 500MB - so the 4 songs together will be around 1GB. I'll have a think about it.

Everyone's photos and videos are great! It's quite weird seeing Nick playing a normal bass though!

Was a good performance overall, and a fun day. Good cause too, I suppose. Although I really think they didn't soundcheck his mic properly. And half the performance was ruined by these awful fangirls who were covered in "I Heart Patrick"s all over their arms and screaming things like "Marry me!" Deary me. Was nice to hear vulture again after December though. Can't wait for the release!

Did anyone else here catch Ed Larrikin's brief appearance over on the main stage? He teamed up with Fyfe Dangerfield of Guillemots to sing Dancing In The Dark (yes, that Dancing In The Dark) with Helsinki. You can see it here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=rCRMpk3Daq4

I took 1:25 of The Libertine if anyone is interested..I was worried the sound would be crappy so I stopped, but it actually sounds really clear..oops: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENjwnlelZdsAnd my photos were generally crappy since I had to zoom, but here's a few anyway: And I may have mentioned before...too lazy to check. Electric bass and electric guitar?! Tristan was so rock.
