I KNOOOOW. I loved him so much, and I was sad they had to leave him. Just when he was getting all adorable "Master did not finish his soup" or whatever that line was. I'm not really sure if I was disappointed in Regulus actually being R.A.B. or not. As soon as HBP came out, that was EVERYONE'S theory, with the locket and everything. It almost felt like fanfiction at that point. Maybe it's because fandom is just very intelligent. Hah. Right... But I was certainly happy he was! I love Regulus, even though there's very little of him in the books. Minor characters make me happy, I guess.

Aye. They're honestly just as, or if not more, interesting than the main characters. Especially in a series like Harry Potter, when there are masses of characters. It's amazing to play detective from the little clues left in books.

Now that I've just reread the whole series in preparation for this book, I feel like I should again! Now that I know everything... But probably not for awhile. Time to step away from the Harry Potter. Sad I was reading the part where Harry learns the whole scene of his parents' death in a crowded room, and I wanted to tear up SO BADLY, but I couldn't, because there were people around me, and that would have been odd. But I had this huge face on. And then when James and Sirius and Lily and Remus all reappeared! Gah. If I was the crying type, I might have died. Oh, this book. I want to reread it again a little, but the middle part is boring, with the moving from place to place bit.

By the way: Snape. Lily. That totally made me melt a little inside. I wonder if my Boy and Boy the Second would still have Clare-related Patronuses after sixteen years? Maaaaan.

The ending confused me alot, I had to read it twice. Some idiot on the internet told me on Saturday morning that Hermione and Hargid both died so i read the book thinking that they were going to die and then they didnt... screw with my head.
O.T Kreature from the Harry Potter films is my english teacher's dad. Just thought i'd inform you of some uninteresting information

I guess he did defeat death because he did come back after being killed by the Elder Wand.

Who's death are we all the most sad about?
I have a slightly developed love for Snape, which refused to die until he did. that last line between him and dumbledore, where dumbledore's all like, "homgawd, after all this time you still luvs Lilly?" And Snape's just like, "Always." and I'm all like, "WAAH SNAPEY NEVER HAD HIS TRUE LOOOVEEEE!"
*cough* Yes I've embarassed myself. I wish I could cast boy patronuses. They'd ply be wolves, though.

I was not feeling the Snape/Lily AT ALL. But whatevs, JK. I suppose she needed a reason to make Snape really remorseful.
I... don't know, I'm not really sad about any of the deaths in Deathly Hallows. Maybe Dobby. I'm still torn up about James and Lily. And Regulus.. Do they count? As we get full details of their deaths in this book finally...

I'm personally distraught aabout Fred. The twins were my favourite thing. Sad.
Snape - I AM SO HAPPY. I thought it was a copout to just have him being "bad".
Also - The children were named terribly! I hated the "Nineteen Years Later" bit, I wanted to find out what happened to everyone else. How did earless George live?
