ah, we're an N64/game cube type family and it drives me mental that cartridges selling for £4 a few years ago now cost like £40 - what is going onnnn? ? seriously!!! luckily, we have lots of lovely friends who've donated millions of games/controllers/rumble packs etc so we've never had to pay the extortionate prices that they now charge for conker's bad fur day etc I've heard a lot about Conker... is it actually worth playing? /t

I collect: Sea Glass, roses, temporary tatoos from those rice candie boxes, and stuffed lions.
My most awesome collection, however, is my concert one. I've made it a point to obtain at least one thing from every concert, other then the ticket, to remember it by. It's a small but quite impressive collection, if a bit mismached..

I have tendencies towards obsessions. The trouble is I have very little money and so cannot afford to collect as much as I would like. One of my greatest obsessions is Tim Burton, so it is therefore probably my best collection. DVDs, soundtracks, books, signed poster prints: The signed poster prints (Helena Bonham Carter, Johnny Depp and Tim Burton): My signed copy of the book of The Nightmare Before Christmas: This is not taking into account the oodles of images I have cut from magazines, the pictures saved from the internet onto cds, interviews I have printed out, posters, clothing, jewellery etc. The pride of my collection is the signed copies of The Nightmare Before Christmas and The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy. DOOOOONNNN'T JUDGE MEEEEEEEEE!

^exalted for that awesomeness. D'you collect the little figures and such too, or just dvd's and books?
I think I might take photos of my concert stuff. And label em.

I collect gig tickets and random bits and bobs for scrapbooking. Pogs, pokemon cards, barbies and beanie babies are also a bit of a collection in my house.
I have a relative who has collected every issue of the reader's digest since September 1999, or something like that.

I don't collect the figurines just yet due lack of funds - I still survive off pocket money. When I get a job they'll be no stopping me. That's about half my collection, but I am too lazy to retrieve the other half from the depths of my cupboards. I am severely obsessed: I know many, many obscure facts and wait outside premieres.
I also collect, but in a much smaller proportion: Edgar Allan Poe books, Roald Dahl books, various sentimental oddities and things relating to bands I like e.g. gig tickets, posters, stickers etc.

I don't collect anything anymore, really. I find this sad. But I just don't have any money for it. I suppose I collect college loans!? Those are my favourite. But, no, I used to collect boxes. Nice, decorative ones, I still have them, and I've no idea what to do with them. They're all odd shapes, and I don't want to put anything in them because they're small... And at a time, I collected porcelain dolls. But those just creep me out now.

I kept cigarette boxes for ages, meaning to paint them and decorate them to use as gift boxes; but I never got around to it, and then I threw them out when I got really depressed realising I'd smoked over four hundred fags since, like, Christmas last year or something. My lungs are black like tar. Other than that, I collect pretty beads to put on things; and starfish-related junk.

Yeah, it's better to put it into context like that. Very much more reassuring. Still, I can't imagine where all the time in front of pubs has gone.

I collect books from charity shops and second hand stores since I'm a complete book and old things nerd. And also setlists from gigs.

I collect tickets stubs, mainly from movies I've seen. I've got a bright yellow envelope filled with them from the past few years.
