That Tom Riddle in the second film was CRAAPP. If Cillian Murphy were a bit younger, he would have been excellent for that. I can just see him in the 6th film as Tom, oohh, I can't wait to see how Half-Blood Prince turns out... Aye. I didn't like young Riddle either. Wasn't he meant to be exceptionally good looking, or is that just me fantasising?

Aye. I didn't like young Riddle either. Wasn't he meant to be exceptionally good looking, or is that just me fantasising? Someone I know's brother got down to the final three or something for that part. And wasn't Sirius supposed to be devilishly attractive too? Gary Oldman was a little too much on the old tramp side I think. Also why is there so little Alan Rickman in these movies? He is so perfect for Snape it's unbelievable. I'm looking forward to the Half Blood Prince for this reason alone.

In my opinion there were only two guys that wee just wank-material. I LOVED Cedric and I absolutely ADORED young Voldemort. Play, rewind, play, rewind. Oliver Wood. Everyone forgets Oliver Wood, probably because he was amongst only a handful of decent things present in the first two films. But, mm! I so, erm, Wood. LOL!!!1 Cheerio, Michael. xxx The actor's name is Sean Biggerstaff. I'm not even going to try and say anything else...

yeah, sorry to sound like a tween here but i expected more hotties in the harry potter series. c'mon! and ron should be more lanky. definitely noticed oliver wood first time i watched the harry potter movies. yearned for more, but he didn't come up. . i think the fifth book isn't very memorable, but the sixth even more so. when i try to remember what happened in it, all i remember is slughorn, the girl being cursed, and dumbledore dying. the third book owns everyone of the other books. i will also be seeing harry and the potters in june! i want to go to each of their southern california dates, of which they have four so far, but i don't think i can make them all. this makes me sad. they are fun. i also don't understand why they just couldn't give daniel radcliffe green contacts to wear. also another thing i noticed i watched the movies first time around. like, the green eyes are so important because they tie back to his mother but they just ignore it. you'd think someone would catch the blunder, especially if it was just a mistake, after the first movie. but noooo.

I'd never noticed Harry’s lack of green.
I don't disagree with the lack of hotties, that'd be shallow of me, it's just unlike big Hollywood movies to not include a cast of irritatingly attractive people.
Sirius was meant to be somewhat more attractive though. That right bugged me it did.
As for the kiddies. Well they started out being all cute, but no one could predict what they'd look like a few years down the line. Ron's still cute though.
Originally they were going to have Liam Aiken (Klaus - A Series of Unfortunate Events ) as Harry. I thought that would have been a better idea if he could conceal his accent. I really don't like Daniel Radcliff. it's the acting..

wasn't Sirius supposed to be devilishly attractive too? Gary Oldman was a little too much on the old tramp side I think. but...but...Sirius just spent 12 years in prison! he's expected to escape from that and just POOF, be gorgeous again? Besides, Gary Oldman when he was younger was quite attractive. I am looking forward to more Alan Rickman though. That man can do no wrong.

I like Gary Oldman. He will always be Rosencrantz to me.
I don't like DanRad, but I passively follow what he does because I think he's hilarious. Arctic Monkeys Fan 001 indeed, sir!

LOL!!!1 Cheerio, Michael. xxx I never forget Oliver Wood! I feel this discussion has come up before...something about him and Cedric...hmm.... And yeah, Sean Biggerstaff. Enough said. Apparently he hangs out quite often in Toronto. I thought I saw him in the audience of a play I went to see during the Fringe Festival a few years ago, but I never inquired as to whether it was him.

LOOK AT THE FACIAL EXPRESSION! THE BODY LANGUAGE! THE WAY HE IS POSITIONED AGAINST THE BEAST! Ah, Daniel Radcliffe, you are a true artist. ahahahaha oh god those pictures are great... except for that one pipipipi just posted... I DIDN'T NEED TO SEE THAT AGAIN. Once in my life is enough, ahhh! and i can confirm that he has never had sex, ever. i went to school with emma watson once upon a time...

I just searched my house from top to bottom in search of my copy only to discover it has disappeared off the face of the earth. I'd written notes in it and everything. Edit: And my copy of Waiting for Godot, too, goddammit.

Who else hates the new Dumbledore? He plays the part as if the headmaster belongs in a straightjacket for God's sake. Why Richard Harris, why?! Couldn't you have stayed alive a bit longer?

I hated Richard Harris. I thought he made Dumbledore seem weak and senile. I'm not the hugest fan ever of Michael Gambon but at least he makes Dumbledore into a competent character again, and gives the impression of being powerful and more all-knowing, which is the air he has in the first few books.

But I always picture Dumbledore as being very calm and soft-spoken, yet still very wise and tough in certain situations. I thought Richard Harris did that whole thing very well. When I watch Michael Gambon, I feel like Dumbledore has been overdosing on some kind of crazy pill....
