I'll be getting one for Christmas so I'm fully appreciative of this thread . I'll try my best to contribute, but I've only ever played the piano (and the recorder in primary school ) before.

I should fix it sometime soon. There was a very bad accident. And I don't have any proper glue at home. I need to buy glue. Also, it is not so bad since it's a very bad ukeulele. It may be cheaper to buy a new one, I dunno

Hey, I'm looking to get a ukelele but I dont really know anything about them. I could do with some general advice. get a lanakai, both their soprano and baritone are amazing, the stock strings are alright, but get the job done; otherwise the sound is great and the construction is solid. the soprano is $50 and the Baritone $100. I know that at least at one point patrick used the standard Lanakai Baritone.

Hey everyone, I'm really considering buying a Baritone Ukulele and I was wondering if it's possible to get a left handed one.
And if not, is it easy to restring a right-handed one so that I can play it and it still sounds good? I know this might raise problems with the strings staying in tune. Thanks xx

Thanks xx Ukuleles are easily strung in the left-handed direction, my dear. According to the nice man at the music shop (and the fact that I've played my classical guitar strung backwards for four years)... it's not much of a problem. With higher tensioned instruments, the strings may pull the next wonky, but it shouldn't be an issue. Just check that you can get the strings through the holes, in case they're graduated.

Godrevy Point! this is the best sounding tab I've heard (maybe one with a baritone uke in open d with a capo on the third fret so it's open f would be as good as or better, or down to open c?) anyway, soprano ukulele, standard C tuning, arpeggiate the bottom (or top, whatever you call it: the highest in pitch) three strings downward and just play these chords (shapes) Dm C Bb F, simple!

I borrowed my sisters Soprano ukulele, having alot of fun with it. I might even invest in a Baritone, it's a great party instrument and these songs are great!
