I loved doing it and I think it turned out pretty nice...It's called 'Modern Riots' this is me & my model...I made and designed the clothes for us both. (I'm pretty proud) this is my model.... this jacket was reversable...you could wear the inside as outside as well! ;D excuse me for the amount of pics.... I did other stuff as well...but I haven't got nice pics of those things yet sooo... that's it for now

I LOOVE that tartan jacket, firstly because it's tartan and secondly because of the ruffles down the front, and how the back is longer than the front. Does it fasten in any way or is it supposed to be always worn open?

Does it fasten in any way or is it supposed to be always worn open? It comes with a home made button/badge thingie to close it... It's better when closed... but yeah...she was moving way too much and the badge kinda gave up. ;D glad u like it...it was HAAAARDDD work. but so worth it. ;D

I bought some napkins yesterday because they were very much on sale and had a nice pattern. Then I whipped this up last night: I think the strap is my favourite part. I almost got all the lines to line up even though it's 4 separate pieces of fabric haha. Also my first time trying pleats... aaaand this is my own pattern (although it was more of just an idea that I figured out as I went along). Took about 4 hours but it was really easy... it only took so long because I ironed all the pieces before and after I sewed them.

Sewing is one of the easiest, most forgiving, instant gratification hobbies to have. Go for it! It only looks hard.

I have made a soft toy. Octavius likes to dance and relax. He has no ears and so he is dancing to bad party music. AWWW, he's really cute! ...and I love how you've given him a personality, it shows imagination!

Ooooh DIY thread! I've been making frames (well, buying IKEA frames and covering them with stuff like candy wrappers and fabric) this year... I haven't got enough to put on my wall yet so the wall shall wait...Here are some : Dresden Dolls logo I embroidered by hand: Embroidered eye inspired by Amanda Palmer's amazing eyebrows! Just some of the stuff I've made =)
