For a change of pace: www.mediafire.com/download.php?jtcywizzmydIf you're not familiar with Arvo Pärt, he's a classical composer from Estonia who makes postmodern minimalist music. Awesome, yeah? This album is intimate, gorgeous, and shatteringly intense -- at times, painful -- in a way I cannot say about any other music. The experience of listening can be profound. One of my goals for this semester is to make a blanket fort with my friend, illuminate the interior with her funky Christmas lights, sit in it together, get stoned, and listen to this album very intently, eyes closed, totally still. I expect to emerge a changed individual.

If we're allowed to make requests here, does anyone have the newer Noah and the Whale album? I can't find it anywhere. I'll send you something really awesome if you do. (I feel like contributing to this thread would be a good thing but I'm not sure what to post

I am a mixture of disheartened (about my apparent inability to pirate when I thought I was so pro) and enthused (YAY NOAH AND THE WHALE). Thanks Sarah. Psychic Chasms - Neon Indian www.mediafire.com/?xtmyqj5nzmmpitchfork.com/reviews/albums/13510-psychic-chasms/This is 'chillwave' or something. It's such a good album- all synthy and vaguely vintage and awesome. Pitchfork says that more eloquently, though.
