^ yoghurts... I love yoghurts. some years ago ALDI(similar to Tesco) took my favourite one off the shelves. That was a great loss. I was sad and till today I have no new favourite because ...yes, they all taste different. None is like this unbelievable yoghurt with chocolate sprinkles was. sarah: Probably I should be able to help you with the book but I've never read it.. sorry. Anyway I found something that could help you: www.gradesaver.com/homo-faber/. You could also have a look at google books.

Romi, I've read that Metz article! So cool! yes, it's absolutely cool ! Do you know similar texts? Also I enhanced my knowledge in psychology last semester. One of the funniest terms I learned is 'the cocktail party phenomenon'. Who knows what it means gets a caipirinha.

Today I had a massive ATR session at work(cool job, eh?) and I noticed a similarity between 'Destroy 2000 years of culture' and 'Accident&Emergency'. It's this "lalalalalaaa" in the background that starts in A&E at 00:13 and in the ATR song at 1:10.

But (talking about the UK here) we used to have smoking and non-smoking areas in restraunts and bars, and there was nothing wrong with that system. a smoking area in a restaurant is like a piss area in a pool.

^ it was in religious education. Of course it was a lie! sarah: ..yes, but not just in big cities. There is an omnipresent danger surrounding us all. It's the sun. Too much sun can cause cancer. so, better stay inside. lol

Instead of doing the german studies I am so badly behind in I am just fawning over the just joans....and lurking here same here (but art history instead of german studies. I really should write it. there's not much time till handover date . oh.. and film music) Who knows a fantasy film with a nice intro that sounds easy to analyse?? I'm already working on Edward scissorhands because I love love love love this introduction! Peter Pan would be nice but I don't know how to analyse the vocals...same for the Wizard of Oz. Lovely songs but I have no clue how to work on them. Addam's Family(SO funny!) could be film #2 but I'm not sure so feel free to post your recommendations. eta: something else.. amazon is so stupid!I was creating a new thread in the media section about Von Spar - 7 minutes (Patrick Wolf remix) but I cancelled it. I thought that I knew the song somehow... yes, because it's not by Von Spar but Circlesquare and it was already posted.

I remember a text that I had to read for a presentation in school(eta: looong time ago). It said that there is a connection between passive smoking and lung cancer. statistically one out of seven would die of it. I was shocked by this and sometimes I've counted clandestinely people at the schoolyard standing around smoking people like 1-2-3-4-5-6-you're dead. I gave it up. It's just a statistic.

I also had problems but I tried another internet explorer. Opera works quite well ETA: I found a girl in Essen who is a friend of a friend... I didn't expect to see someone I know(well.. I just know her by sight but she lives there). It's a bit scary. The whole map-thing and also google-street is scary. ETA#2: It should be called penismap.com. Or it could be a treasure map for the game "finding the world's biggest penis"..ugh

how can you upload pictures there? I met Mr. Bean.. ... and a guy playing bass, some guys showing their Borussia Dortmund scarfs, a canadian musician (he was quite cool) and a "you are wanking in front of David Hasselhoff"-sign with a Hasselhoff photo as Background. (besides the huge amount of penises that you see everytime I also saw 2 couples having sex and two girls showing their tits.)

WOOOOOOOOW Sounds like a Terry Gilliam movie... Oh! I have not seen anything from him. Any recommendations? are you serious? You don't know any Monty Python films? NONE? Or at least Frear And Loathing in Las Vegas? ..or Brothers Grimm? I hope that was a joke. you must have seen them. _______ edit: the number of my posts reminds me of a mnemonic from school: 333 - Issos Keilerei (it rhymes in german and means the Battle of Issus).
