Hey! This thread is for any of Patrick's Irish 'Wolves' who, like me, are anticipating this event like crazy!! And of course anyone travelling for the event. I do have a Q already though... I checked the Sugar Club's site and it has a capacity of 350. The tickets available on pre-sale just say 'unreserved' so does anybody who either has been to this venue before or has a good idea about pre-sale from other venue's know what this means? It looks like you can stand in front of the stage? www.thesugarclub.com/virtual-tour.jspI have a couple of friends who'll want to go too, but are getting their tickets on general sale. I'd prefer for us not to be split up if I get pre-sale + they get general. I tried ringing the venue themselves but no one is there until 10 in the morning. Anyways, I'm freaking out about this announcement Can't wait

I'm not Irish, but I will be there!
I was wondering that too, but I *think* unreserved means that the seats won't be numbered, so you can just sit where you want...that's just a guess though!

See im Irish and correct me if im wrong but this is like patrick's first gig in Ireland, not including Oxegen festival last year. I now live in london though so im heading to Koko but my best friend still lives in Ireland and i KNOW he'll want to go so i might fly over to dublin for it. What do you think are the chances for getting tickets after january?

Hey, Aw good to hear there's interest already! I just bought my own ticket there on pre-sale, it still says 'Unreserved' but noticed it did say 'Unreserved Seating' so I think you might be right Kayleigh?? I'm still gonna buy a couple of tickets on general release just in case? But I do have a few friends who are coming along so I should have a better idea when I buy them in store? I might ring the venue just to see? I don't know how well known Patrick would be here in Ireland, so I don't know what the chance's are that there'd be tickets available come Jaunary? There was a big crowd at Oxegen for him. Also he did support Arcade Fire at the Olympia on March 6th 2007. Other than that + Oxegen I think this is his 3rd time here so who knows??

I wasn't as observant as you when I ordered my Dublin ticket. I just assumed that all venues are standing, rather than sitting. I fond sitting difficult because of my extrmely long legs.

Yeah I know what you mean. I'm guessing that the entire event will be unreserved as there is a large enough sized standing area in front of the stage and a tiered seating area behind that. If so that basically means the earlier you get there the better, which doesn't bother me (On a slightly related note, when we went to Fleetwood Mac at The O2 Dublin that was assigned seating but people were still allowed stand at the stage if they wanted) I think the best thing to do is just contact the venue and I'll report back once I have a better idea, that way it'll avoid three months of stressing out... I wonder if they'll be merchandise available at the venue? I hope so Also I wonder if there is enough demand would they change the venue to some place bigger? (Marina and the Diamonds did that when we were in Befast before) Some Place such as the Tripod, Academy Or Button Factory. That's just my little theory...

So I rang the Sugar Club there and he said that: ''The entire venue is unreserved aka general admission so the earlier you arrive the better spot you'll have.'' This basically means that if you bought your ticket on the pre-sale or are yet to buy them now they are on general release, either way we are ALL having ''unreserved'' tickets. Also you can stand at the stage (which is what I'll be doing) or sit at one of the tiered booth's behind the standing area, depends really on how early you get there. So that's a bit of a result! Just have to buy my friend's tickets during the week but all is well for now Also, I was told that at the recent smaller 3 gig tour there was a small merchandise stand so I expect there should be at this

The Sugar Club is hosting the national pole-dancing championships soon. How very appropriate. Relevant.

I was beginning to worry about my Dublin ticket, which also hasn't arrived. I have all my other tickets (Nottingham, Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol and London), including an extra one I recently bought for Nottingham as I'm now taking my sister.
I must get my travel and accommodation sorted soon.

And what I DETEST about Ticketmaster is this...''please do not contact Ticketmaster until at least two weeks before the event''...when you're still waiting on your tickets

Mine arrived just this week. I only bought one ticket on the pre-sale so I have that along with the three I bought in store. Four tickets BUT only two people going :-(
