I'm watching The Aviator and am finding much joy in how much Cate Blanchett sounds like Katharine Hepburn. She's got the mannerisms spot on.

OHMYGOD FIDO. So it's good eh? I keep seeing it on the shelf at Blockbuster and I am so so curious but also a little bit afraid at the same time. Maybe next time I should definitely get it then!

Watched Funny Games last night, thoroughly disappointed, although it was good when the boy was shot.

i saw Les Amants du Pont-Neuf today. its about two people who fall in love on a bridge in paris and live happily ever after. big laughs and hijinks! i mean it is about that. but the two people are dirty and homeless, the boy is an acrobat and addicted to downers, the girl is an artist and going blind. and they both drink a lot. there are some AMAZING sequences. youtube.com/watch?v=409W8TzFT8Qit also includes the titanic standing on the bow shot, except its the bow of a river barge carrying sand, and its from 1991.

Do it! You should only be afraid of its sheer awesomeness! Last night I saw But I'm a Cheerleader for the first time. Also highly recommended.

Jason X. How the fuck did it get a cinema release? It's like a soft porn TV series Channel 5 would show.

Foreplay is for sissies! I really liked the music that went along with it. I liked the love scene, especially, I thought the lighting was so pretty.

I have yet to see But I'm a Cheerleader even though I know hundreds of people who own it.
Okay, slight exaggeration. I know of hundreds...
Yeah, I need to see it.
The last film I saw was a wonderful documentary about a band trying to make it big in Democratic Republic of Congo and the general omnipresence of music in the country. I really like the music. I wonder if there are Congolese music blogs.

Yes, it is necessary to put a large photo in here. Everyone MUST watch this film! It has everything: Fantasy, witches, sex, pirates, cross-dressing, love, good looking men, ghosts, swordfights, England, a character named Victoria....oh my god it was fantastic.

I got to see '21' for free. It was quite fun and, though predictable, quite engaging. There was quite a tacky sex scene that didn't really need to be there but I enjoyed it. Actually, I borrowed my mate's copy of 'Brokeback Mountain'. I had enjooyed it at the cinema but there were a couple of jumps that didn't sit right and the beginning seemed to drag. None of this was a problem second time round and I think I may need to buy it myself now (not just for the man lovin')

i second this and admit to watching it 4 times within the first fortinight i got it on dvd, which is unusual for me. and i now have a bit of a thing for charlie cox hehe, it really does have everything!! gay lightning catchers what more could you want?
i went to go and see In Bruges today, not the thing i usually would but it suprised me how much humour they could get in to something comparatively dark. as black comedy goes it was pretty good, and colin farrell was looking pretty hot in it as well.
