'Legend' (again). Really quite naff little 80s film with a really young Tom Cruise and Tim Curry, but I really love it Oh my god, this is the most ridiculous movie I've ever seen. It really is the greatest thing. I've finally gotten around to watching some David Lynch movies; watched Wild at Heart yesterday. That Nicholas Cage is one repulsive man.

EASY A!
It was so funny. Stanley Tucci is enough reason to go, but yes, seriously funny movie.

I just watched the classic American film Stand By Me. Amazing! i have it on dvd and love it!! as said river phoenix kicks ass, so sad he did an OD at the viper room (LA) and died so young you should also see 'My Own Private Idaho' (Gus Van Sant) with Keanu Reeves and River Phoenix (and flea from the red hot chili peppers), it's a good movie in which he plays a great role. ps: river phoenix <3 www.youtube.com/watch?v=AIXNg-jBdxMjapanther's song 'river phoenix': www.youtube.com/watch?v=OVpGky0meJQ

I love it too I really enjoy Xavier Dolan's work anyway. Idk, his way of filming, the kind of poetry in his films...yeah, i love his work! Btw, have you seen 'J'ai tué ma mère'? I found it great too but i might like 'Les Amours imaginaires' even more.

A friend of mine has 'J'ai tué ma Mère' ('I've Killed my Mother' for the native english speakers) and we have planned to do a popcorn-cine session at my place w/ friends very soon... Xavier Dolan is so young (21 i think) and soooooooooooo talented, already was on the red carpet (for this movie 'Les Amours Imaginaires') at Cannes Movie Festival this last summer, he's a genius.

I watched Nowhere Boy last night (the one about a young John Lennon with Aaron Johnson in). It was very good! But then British films often are.
And it didn't hinder it that Aaron Johnson is something of a hottie...

Shaun of the Dead. Omg. So funny XD! I was also surprised to recognize almost every actor in it. That's when I know I've watched too many English series and films XD.

I really loved 127 Hours. We all know Danny Boyle is great but I think James Franco gave a fantastic performance. It was unusually beautiful for a film about survival.

The Machinist
disturbing. even looking at Trevor hurts but when he ran into the car..
eta: it was quite obvious that the solution to _ILLER was KILLER and not MILLER. eta2: I really like the overall look of the film. very cold! lots of grey and blue tones.
