Argh the ending of Inception! It will haunt me forever.
I love it so much, although less than I expected because people's praise made me think it would be a complete mind-fuck film and it wasn't really, I understood it all and wasn't at all perplexed/annoyed with it UNTIL THE END. Gah.

Oh, the last film I saw was "Cloverfield" don't know what I think about this movie... it was not bad but not the best I've ever seen... it was amusing ;D My favourite part was when the girl who'd had the GIANT SPIKE THROUGH HER CHEST scaled a TOWER BLOCK and then ran through New York pursued by monsters. Buh bye, logic! Nice knowing you! Cheerio, Michael. xxx

I liked the part where the chick from Mean Girls suddenly got real fat and exploded.

Wild Target. I love Bill Nighy. Seeing Rupert Grint as someone else than Ron Weasley was also interesting =)

I thought 'Inception' was brilliant, but I didn't love it, if that makes sense. A fascinating idea that was wonderfully executed, but I didn't see any extraordinary beauty in it. There was no emotional attachment.
The last film I saw, on the other hand, was extremely beautiful and an instant favorite: Agnes Varda's 'Cleo from 5-7.' Gorgeous.

A fascinating idea that was wonderfully executed, but I didn't see any extraordinary beauty in it. There was no emotional attachment. Hmm, really? Personally I saw a lot of beauty in it. I felt an emotional attachment to Leo's character, which greatly effected how I reacted to the film in the last twenty minutes... there was even some emotion that I felt involved with Saito and Fischer's plights. But I agree with you in the sense that there wasn't much beauty in these emotional aspects. To me it very extremely beautiful in a different way - It was beautiful in it's amazing visuals and timing and intricacy of the storytelling itself. Actually this brought me to tears a few times while watching it! But then, what is beauty, eh? It's different to all of us. And I'm just a freak like that. I turned to mush and cried during District 9 because I thought the fact that something someone friggin' animated on a friggin' computer (the aliens) could, with the technology and talent available, could seem so life-like and almost human and real and so effective in being emotionally effective was absolutely beautiful. Um... yeah. Anyway I saw The People Vs. Larry Flynt and it ruled. A lot. Why does Milos Forman make the best dang films?! And I want to marry Woody Harrelson. And Courtney Love is brilliant. I wish she acted more. Even if she is essentially playing herself in a way... she's still good.

I saw Toy Story 3 last night... Not really sure where it was that everyone cried at? I didn't pick up on any particular tearjerker moments. But it was absolutely brilliant nonetheless. So happy I finally got to see it.
But also... HOLY FUCK BRITISH CINEMA HAS A LOT OF ADVERTS! OH MY FUCKING GOD!
That is all.

To be fair, that IS the longest i've sat through adverts in a cinema. I swear it was about 35 minutes! Normally they're only about 20 (i used 'only' with heavy sarcasm).

Inception's ads were well long! Weird. Maybe they upped the amount.

I saw Army of Darkness last night. Suprisingly surrealist at times. Also, really fucking boring. I'm not into watching undead skelletons get blasted apart. There were some funny parts, too. It gave me bad dreams, though. I'm really not a fan of horror films.

Harvey Milk. And Soldier's Girl today. I don't know what's possessed me to watch such sad movies that made me want to cry, but they were good movies.
