I'm seriously scared of crowded busses in summer. Thinking of it makes me nervous.
I don't have problems with full busses or other public means of transport in general but you know.. when there's like 25°C outside it's nearly 40°C in the bus and no oxygen. We have some busses where you even can't open a window! It just panics me and I get giddy spells and so mostly I leave the bus one or two bus stops earlier and walk the rest.
summer is fine. BUT NOT IN FUCKING CROWDED BUSSES.

I know what you mean! One of the bus companies here has THE most irritating habit of NOT turning on the heating in winter, yet never turning it OFF in the summer! So stupid!

Heights in general, and I don't like walking across high bridges, like those between Luxembourg Railway Station and Luxembourg town centre. I nearly walked the long way down paths into the gorge, but these became a bit difficult so I had to go back and walk across the bridge. I waited until there was a group of people walking across and tagged on behind them, almost walking in the cycle lane which was near the middle of the road.
With heights goes a total fear of flying. I never have flown and I have no intention to do so.
I also must get over a phobia I have about the stretch of the M62 between Bradford and Leeds. I nearly passed out on that stretch about 4 years ago (I was rushed to hospital by ambulance), and I've only managed to drive down it once since. I avoid it.

I have a acute fear of hoovers. I can use one, but don't like it if someone else is using it near my feet as I fear it will er, suck my feet off.

^ Ana, I just fell in love with you.
I hate when you say "I don't like this" and people do it instantly. Me and tickling is an example of this.
I don't think I really have any fears that qualify as phobias even in loose terms. So I'll leave it at that. Carry on, phobics!

I hate when you say "I don't like this" and people do it instantly. this. i have an intense aversion to loud noises and especially loud repetitive noises at that, and my boyfriend knows this, and will do stupid things like imitate a car alarm for ages or bark like a dog. LOVE EH.

Sorry, almost totally irrelevant to this topic but I've just noticed that Anna's location is Lincoln. I grew up there and go back to visit my sisters for birthdays, at Christmas, and for odd things like the Lincoln Internatonal Chamber Music Festival.

my roommate is sick, just now i went into her room to bring her a cup of tea and there was this MASSIVE PILE of used tissues beside her bed and my throat closed up and i had to dash out of there. *edit* WOAH NEW SMILIES!!! :fish: anyway re. crowded summer busses: san francisco has a problem with homeless people, like, we're too liberal to get rid of them, or whatever, but so they ride the busses and fuck in the summer, when its hot, and you're sat next to a smelly alcoholic homeless man, and across from a dirty hippie runaway kid, and behind you is an old asian lady with lord knows what in her pink plastic shopping bag but shit does it smell. . . . nauseating. but i'm not afraid of it, i just dread it.

I've heard that some use a hoover to catch spiders but in this case that would be a bit problematic.. haha.
when all the baby spiders grow as big as their mother they'll form an army of beasts like in Harry Potter.
