I love Calibri, I'm glad Microsoft Word switched to it. Also small ariel/tahoma is good. I guess I'm typing in one of those right now?
Also, I like my msn font. I don't know what it is, but it's small and it made me go 'awwh!' when I first saw it.

Garamond is fantastic. I do quite like Comic Sans, it's cheerful and reminds me of primary school, although it's not one of my favourites. My trials.

I love Century Gothic. And Futura. On the internet I've become so acclimated to Verdana.

I don't like wingdings, because they're too mesmerizing.

i condemn: [...], comic sans. Can't be condemned as font because it's so bad that it's not even one ;D .. I think. I get laugh and vomit attacks at the same time when someone use it in a ppp for uni! Wtf do they think when they choose comic sans as "font" (hahahaaa!!) for an academic presentation? and I second your dislike against size 12 times new roman. I appreciate helfuckingvetica, Old English, Winterthur Condensed, Parchment (I think the last two are copies/fakes and I don't know their original name)

That guy's tattoo is the best thing I have EVER seen and I want it. IF COMIC SANS WAS A PERSON I WOULD BE PLOTTING THEIR MURDER RIGHT THIS INSTANCE. I like typewriter-y fonts but courier is too big. I like it when it's condensed and small and printed onto weird paper. Just at the moment though, because it's in my art project. I'm quite a fan of Berlin sans, I don't know why, I became attracted to it whilst making a powerpoint in French and now I rather like it. I like Times New Roman when it's small and on the computor but then when you print it out it's like WHAT IS THAT SIZE 12 DOING ON MY NICE PAPER and it's horrible. TNR capslock is pretty good though. Classy.

this is how Parchment looks like (it's an original font and no copy like I thought): I totally forgot this one.. I love it so much!! (can be downloaded on dA):

Classy. Yeah I've noticed that on word their 100% is totally not 100%. On my screen I held paper up to it and for me 125% is full size HAHA SAD.

AFTER I READ THIS, I WENT OUTSIDE BIG MISTAKE I want to vandalize the Oriental Express Buffet now : ( and yeah, Times New Roman isn't a bad font in itself, 12-point is just way too big for handing in essays and whatnot I think. it makes my opinions look more obnoxious than they already are.

which font do you use for essays that looks good in seize 12 and fills pages quickly? I need one. I have a thing for celtic fonts. A local Irish Pub(st. Patrick's) uses this font (who knows the name of this font?) : Oh and one more to be condemned: TRAJAN. It's on almost every film poster and I can't see it anymore!!

Ours is as long as it's in 12. I use century gothic for most things.

I think my profs have a preference for some fonts but generally it's just like anna said: acceptable as long as it's in 12 (plus readable and 1,5 space).
century gothic is a good recommendation, thanks. Bookman Old style fills even more space. I'll use this or century gothic.

Awww, you guys are so lucky. My teacher is so specific, like, if it's has to be two pages and you write one sentence on the third, you fail. And for font, it's always been one type. They're so picky.
