I had a dream I had a mooncup last night! Ladies, you're invading my brain.
I'm tempted to try it now.

I'm glad they called it mooncup, because many other gross names could have been used. Or unappealing, whatever - Bloodcatcher - Flowpot etc

HAHA. flowpot. lolol Got my flowpot in.
bloodcatcher reminds me of 'childcatcher' and dream catchers. I'm quite scared of dream catchers. When I was younger I swear they used to catch nightmares every night. Without fail I'd have a really awful dream. Probably psychological but it freaked me out so much I took it down and kept it in a box. Haha.

period update lolz: went for a check-up for my pill yesterday and the nurse insisted it's fine that i don't have a period, as the pill that i'm on stops womb lining building up anyway, so she said for me not to worry, i won't suddenly have a MAHOOSIVE period if i stop taking the pill. and she also said many women on my pill either have very short periods or none at all and it's perfectly safe.
SO PHEW. but the pharmacist didn't have 12 months in stock so i have to go back next week. ranty rant over.

^ that's good, I'm glad it doesn't have to be a worry. I've got to go to the doctors in a week or so to renew, but I'm going to book a doctors appointment and ask about going onto something different, maybe a better one? I've read up on Qlaira, it sounds a bit 'better' compared to what I'm on. Is anyone on it/tried it?

^ Hello Jade of a week ago. I've come off the pill now. I had such an awful headache that I decided I'd rather stop taking it than die or something. Headaches have been getting worse recently and I suffer migraines so I apparently shouldn't even be on it in the first place.
After a few days I feel so so so sick, and horrible. I keep feeling like throwing up. No idea if it's related.
I'm also constantly petrified about being pregnant. I trust nothing. Roar.

I saw a mooncup sticker in the toilet at uni today and someone had written 'there are multiple uses for a mooncup' on it. Underneath people had started listing other uses for it including: a travel shot glass, a tiny hat and a portable egg cup! I do love people sometimes.

Maybe I should get a bloodcatcher/mooncup.
I've been psyching myself up to go buy feminine hygiene products for the last 20 minutes because I'm afraid the elderly Chinese man who owns the corner store will mock me. What for? No idea, but I need tampons goddamnit.

But alas, I'm too late for this month now. I'll just have to wait to see if it will be worth it, but I think it will be.

There's obviously some sort of underground Banksy type mooncup movement we weren't even aware of until we looked closer. Well I say 'we'; I haven't seen any yet. Mmm, it wasn't absolutely fantastic like I expected, but it wasn't bad, and like the booklet says everyone's a beginner at some point. I bet it'll be better when I'm more confident next month, hopefully. I'm sure it wasn't helped by the fact that I refused to trim the stem for aaages for fear of it disappearing. But on the plus side it goes in and out like a dream now When I first took it out and looked at it, it's a bit
