i've not had a period for nearly 3 years now. my doctor seems to think that's fine, however, so i shouldn't worry. i still do. I would worry too. I should embolden you and say "oh don't worry about it" but.. 3 years really sound strange. i've heard of women who also had a pause but not for years. will it ever come back when your doctor said it's fine?

it just sucks sometimes. everyone's always like OMGZ UR SO LUCKEE NOT HAVIN A PERIOD!!!1 and i'm like, but.. i feel so unwomanly or something cos i don't have one. agh, i dunno. i'm often not enthused with the fact i'm a woman. i hate my boobs, i don't have a period, my voice is deep... blah. But Jay, you have so much woman in you! I mean you're so motherly which is a very befitting and great quality an admin can have.

i still think they're weird. but then i don't like tampons or pads either, periods are annoying and messy and inconvenient. Oh, this is still true. I still do not like my period. However, using a cup makes things easier for me.

July 2007, no way! Ah, I used to use 'lol' too much, lol. Wasn't there a youtube video? I'm going to have to search all 27 pages 'til I find it now. eta: "THE BOSS recommends you dont rinse your mooncup in the toilet bowl. This could be less than hygenic." HAHAHAHAHA.

And don't you just LOVE how it always comes on days when you have made big plans? Us women can just NEVER have a perfectly good time now can we... {^From the other thread.} I have been to three concerts in the past three months, and twice my period has decided to start the day before. Argh, what is the need?! I hate periods. End of. It's extra annoying because mine seem to come 2 or 3 days earlier each month, so I am never prepared. You'd think I'd learn by now, but I'm always just far too hopeful that perhaps this month my body won't be a bitch. @jay: I really don't know what to say about your worries about not having a period for 3 years, I'm sorry. But I am with you in hating my boobs and hating my man's voice. I was all for going to the show choir that started at my school a couple of weeks ago. But I went once, and was in the alto's section, but I couldn't sing as high as them, so I haven't gone again because I can't just rock up like, 'Hai, I talk and sing like a man so I'm just joining the tenor section, okay?' Grr. I also feel incredibly unfeminine because I don't like being around other girls that much, guys are just so much easier to get on with. Having guy friends = no bitching = no hassel, as far as I am concerned.

I'm a very male person*, in terms of personality, sense of humour and general interactions sometimes. I remember crying on the floor when I was like, 6 because I had a deep voice. Lol oh dear.
Jay, that sucks, I get worried when i go for like, 3 months without a period. It's very worrying, and i'm constantly worried about infertility. You'll always be a woman if you choose to be and know you are!
*where'd think I got the nickname 'rhiman' from?

Having guy friends = no bitching = no hassel, as far as I am concerned. My best friends in primary school were boys and they treated me like one of them. All the other girls hated me and I didn't like them as well. Was a very defining time. In year 10 I fell in love with my best friend. He didn't have the same feelings towards me and we tried to stay friends but it just didn't work.. He studies music at the same uni like me and so I see him from time to time. sometimes we talk a bit but I still miss his friendship so much.

As I said in the other thread (I don't remember which one, maybe in the orientate yourself one) I don't feel like a woman because of my body shape. But I guess we've all got things that don't match up to what is 'expected' of a fully rounded female. And that there's no such things as perfect, blah blah. I have always mostly been friends with girls, but girls who aren't super girly, as I've never got on with that, it tends to come along with (more) bitchiness than people who don't spend 6 hours on their face. When I've been friends with guys it's normally been ruined by them having feelings for me and it getting weird. That's happened to like 2 good friends of mine, but I guess we drifted apart anyway. Although I've been on the other side of that, gahhhhh how frustrating is it fancying your friend?!

MY MOONCUP CAME And because my mental age is in single digits I had to giggle at the postcard that says LADY GARDEN on the front where you can post them feedback. Hah and there are stickers! I feel like I've joined a club. Very excited to try it

Hah and there are stickers! mooncup stickers?! xD I would stick them everywhere just to confuse everyone who don't know what they are for. And I would doodle funny things next to them to confuse people even more.. I have to do that. Two weeks till uni starts again.. oh yeah.

I'd love to put one on a businessman's back on the tube so he's walking round all day saying 'You can stop using tampons!'

Hahaha! Like when you're little and cover the bedroom door in magazine freebies (which are basically just logos) and characters you don't actually know that well.
PLEASE get the mooncup tattoo!

Hahaha! Like when you're little and cover the bedroom door in magazine freebies (which are basically just logos) and characters you don't actually know that well. i did that. except mine were all stickers from sonic the comic, which i was obsessed with. i had to paint over them in the end cos they were impossible to remove! sadly i still have my big 'manchester united supporter's bedroom' plaque on there... hoho.

I actually thought of sonic when I typed that! No idea why though, I never watched/saw/played it. He's obviously just suited to walls and doors. Haha awww that's nice. UNITED! *clap* *clap* *clap*
