The writing is bloody awful - I find Maxxie particularly offensive Simon Amstell created that character. I don't care if they resurrected Shakespeare to come up with him, lines like 'I lost my head and then he gave me head' make me vomit, internally... Which is terribly difficult to clean up, I assure you. Cheerio, Michael. xxx

Simon Amstell, for the record, should have stuck to Popworld. And actually being funny. And not having ridiculous hair.
Cheerio, Michael. xxx

We all had a Skins night last night, crowded around my mate's telly, and occupying every seat or floor space in the living room.
I was a bit disappointed in the first episode of the new series, but we spent about twenty minutes laughing at Cassie's "Scotland" video, especially considering two of the people from that flat were brought up in the town she's supposedly now living in. And then at the advert break, I said, "I wonder how many kids like us are around the country watching this just now." And we all went silent for a second and then everyone told me to shut up.
I just hope Maxxie's not stuck being comic relief.
And God, I wish Tony had died. The new Tony is gash.

And God, I wish Tony had died. The new Tony is gash. In my version of season two, Tony was a ghost. [spoilers] Michelle and Sid are being given the boot at the end of this series[/spoilers] Cheerio, Michael. xxx

I'm surprised they'd do that actually, I thought Sid and Cassie would have been their central theme, the heart at the middle of the story.

I don't like the generalization it makes about teenage Britain, the whole party, drinking thing. That's not me at all! Or maybe I'm just strange?

It's not exactly portraying it as a documentary, stop getting so uppity about it not being representative of actual youth culture. It's not like some middle aged man is going to watch that and think "shit, that's what kids do?" edit: shit, I'm defending skins. someone stop me

OOOH, that episode last night went above and beyond my expections for series two being pish. I enjoyed it thoroughly, although the Michelle /Tony stuff made me wince a bit.
How weird was that lassie?!
