I don't know what to think about the first song, the second is wonderful. The synthesizer sounds perfect.

I love the first song, it's so catchy ;D But i do wonder what he's on about - "Pick up pick up the bayonet, run it through run it through the stomach of your brother"... right... And who's Scott? But then I don't really have a clue what most of Owen's songs are about!

Maybe this new album is a continuation of 'Heartland' - I hope so. A Heartland prequel would touch my nerdish heart ;D.

Wow I'd love a Heartland II ;D Don't know what would happen in it though, since Lewis killed Owen didn't he? Maybe Owen didn't really die and he can come back and Lewis will be angry and take action again I love nerd music ;D I'm still in awe at hearing Heartland performed live 3 months ago But I wouldn't mind if he went in another direction, I also really love his less serious, solo songs, where he's sort of taking the piss out of things. This new song about Scott on his bicycle sounds a bit like that (rather than sort of serious songs with a full orchestra like Heartland). I'm really hoping that when his next album comes out I'll be able to see him solo or with a small band, in a tiny venue I have yet to experience seeing him in that sort of context. (And maybe he won't miss out Scotland when he comes to the UK this time!!!)

I thought Owen killed Lewis . I want to see him live again as I've only seen him once, he will probably come to Manchester as it is seen as a 'big' city (despite the fact that its dreadful). I don't think the album will be released anytime soon though, maybe in a year or two.

I don't think the album will be released anytime soon though, maybe in a year or two. Maybe I'm wrong, I was just going by "I drove the iron spike into Owen's eyes"...."The author has been silenced", I thought that was Lewis killing Owen? But to be honest I don't have a clue what's going on in most of Owen's songs! He's more likely to come to Manchester than Glasgow/Edinburgh or anywhere near me After Heartland came out he did a European tour and came to England (including Manchester I think), Wales and Ireland, and since then he played in England and Ireland again. He hasn't been to Scotland since before Heartland was out! Sorry, I'll stop complaining now The next time he comes to England when I don't have uni or anything I'll go and see him (I spend ridiculous amounts of money on Owen!!!) But yeah, I think it will probably be a while before that happens.

Yes, Lewis did kill Owen. I have to confess 'Tryst' is not one of my favourite songs so I didn't bother to read the lyrics .

I think Lewis did kill Owen, too. Because otherwise the lyrics and 'What do you think will happen now?' doesn't make any sense Ooohh new sooongs! I have to listen to them when I'm home. I hope it won't take too long until his new album release I'm so excited!

The song about Scott on his bicycle is called Soldier's Rock and the other one is called Infernal Fantasy. Presumably the CD will be out next year. I am still obsessed with Heartland so I hope Owen takes his time.

Look what I just got ;D ;D ;D I've been trying to get Owen's albums on CD without spending too much (since I already bought them on itunes), I found Has A Good Home second hand, but the other two were quite expensive everywhere I saw them. But then the other day I found a signed copy of He Poos Clouds on ebay for £4.99!!!!! ;D (It occured to me it at first it might not be genuine, but it's not like it's someone really famous, and the guy said which concert it was signed at, so it seems far too random to make up!) I'm so excited to finally have Owen's autograph And to finally have HPC on CD with all the pretty artwork ;D

Well it was a four year wait (I saw him play Heartland live in 2011 but I was longing to go to a "normal" show, where he could potentially play anything, from any album)... but SO worth it!

I won't listen to anything new until the Album is out (unless there's a single) but so excited!!! I'm hoping this means he'll tour. You'd think living in Toronto I'd be able to see him more often, but nope!
