Hi people,
Great news for those Wolf fans over in or nearby NY, now. Patrick will be showcasing his brand new album with a one-off acoustic performance at Le Poisson Rouge in New York on May 6th. This performance will give New Yorkers, or indeed anyone who fancies travelling to Manhattan from out of town, their first chance to see Patrick perform songs from his new album, The Bachelor, which will be released on June 2nd in the US. At this first US date of 2009, Patrick will perform acoustically, playing stripped down versions of the songs from his new album that ranges across confrontational electronica to heart wrenching ballads. This will be the first time an American audience has the chance to see Patrick perform as he started out, on his own, without a band. He plans to return to the US in the summer with the full six piece outfit. Patrick said: “ I am excited to be going back to America, to play songs from my new album. And to show New York how it all started by going there on my own with only a case full of instruments for company”. As you all know, with to Patrick’s new album being funded via Bandstocks, Bandstock holders are entitled to many privileges and rewards. To this end there will be a two day pre-sale for stockholders, with tickets going on general sale on Monday, April 6th.
Bandstockers will have an exclusive pre-sale period from today until Monday to buy tickets, so remember to check your emails for the link.
Love,
Team Wolf x

by the way, i am aware that some members of TWIN have not received the message about the presale... i'm trying to figure out why this is but am frankly baffled/frustrated with it all. i've let patrick's manager know and they may email me back today in an attempt to sort it out but i don't have computer access at the weekend so i hope they can fix it for you in my absence. just know we're trying to deal with it, is all. thanks guys.

INTERESTING
Friends and I want to go but are all very skint and that is very soon haha ... we're looking at our options. Looks like we have some pretty good options, actually. Hmmmmmm
And yes, TWIN....I wonder if maybe there could be a link to singing up to a separate mailing list by giving your e-mail and bandstock ID number? If there is no way to get a list of the TWIN members.

This is amazing but that is during my finals week and I only have one exam but I still don't know when it is but I really want to go. Emailing my professor now because I do not want to miss this presale. I guess even if my exam is the day of the show or the next day, I can work out traveling to New York and back. Excited!

Yeah a couple of my friends are upset about that too. Apparently some of the events at the place are 18+ so it's even suckier. This seems to be a real possibility. Time is the only issue. I would so love to go and it's acoustic which may cover my missing of the WITW tour Also I want to go back to NY! Crossing my fingers! EDIT: Bandstocks ticket page says 18+ or accompanied by legal guardian. That would be better for many people.

Ugh, in the middle of finals! I could have had another adventure. But I will definitely be going when he tours more of the US. Because he has to

So I have questions. Can I buy bandstocks now and then get tickets tomorrow? I don't have bandstocks yeeeetttt. Le Poisson Rouge is pretty flexible with the age I imagine. PEOPLE, GO. I would be happy to accompany someone (I am going with a friend, as far as I know).

YAY 18+! So I will most definitely be going then. But their site still says 21+. Oh whatever, buying a ticket or two and I';; hope for the best.
I bought my bandstocks with paypal and it took a few days to get it processed. I don't know if it would be different if you use a credit card.
Also, I lamely cannot get to the bandstocks ticket page. How do I get there?

PEOPLE, GO. I would be happy to accompany someone (I am going with a friend, as far as I know). Well geez if Alei is going then I HAVE to go! ;D Anyone ever stayed in NY? We're trying to figure out accomadations, but have been told a lot of the hostels are rat-infested. There's probably going to be 6 of us but we're not picky on sleeping conditions; we just don't like rats haha

You do have to go! I would love to finally have the acquaintance of the lovely Victoria! And Lauren, I have NO idea. I just bought bandstocks tediously, and am also trying to figure out how to get the advance tickets as well...

Well that was quick. Decided it's not a good time and far too soon. Exams + trip planning = major fail. Guess I'll have to wait for the bigger tour

OH MY GOD. This is during my first trip to New York (I live in bloody ASIA) and Patrick is performing. Only thing... I'm not 21, not even close. I'm 17, turning 18 this year. Someone said that Le Poisson Rouge isn't that stringent with age limits, but can someone please reassure me of my chances of getting in? ;_; This might honestly be the only chance I'll ever get to see Patrick live.

Make friends in line with someone who looks of age.
