Just remembered....he also played a song in Manx Gaelic called My Vaeety Breau, which explains that blog. The song was lovely too. yeah, I spoke to him on Sunday night about it cos I'd been in the isle of Man the week before and looking at some of the scenery I was like "woah, this is so Patrick Wolf"

he was amazing in the boathouse he played (in no particular order) Land's End, half an a capella version of Godrevy Point (he forgot the words), Pumpkin Soup, Fall at the Feet of Rae with Ed (Larrikin Love song)[/u], and Ed and Patrick both read lots of wonderful poetry. I can't remember anything else they played...I'm sure it'll come to me later...oh I just remembered the Libertine[/quote] are you JOKING?!! (obviously you are not but...) that is my favourite larrikin song and OMG i can't believe how amazing it would have sounded with patrick. i am sooooo jealous of all who attended!

You're not sad, I contemplated doing it, but then I realized I was completely lazy and did not. But I am glad you did.

Yep, it was Angeline.
The Boathouse has become my favourite gig ever. It was...wow. It was just all so lovely. I sound silly and naf - oh well.
I loved how Patrick forgot some of the words, especially when at the Boathouse: Wolf: Any requests? Me: PUMPKIN SOUP! Wolf: Oh, okay. *pause* How does it start again? Me: Some time in the evening... Wolf: Oh yeahh.
Good times. Great pics above, by the way! x:]

(sorry - way too over excited) Im so glad i spent 6 hours on the train to see patrick, after i read his recent blog it made me feel really happy and warm inside, that we could share in his amazing weekend. I have to say - when we were there, Patrick looked so well. During the whole magic position era at some points he looked drained with little colour in his face. He is certainly Patrick again and ITS GREAT!

When Patrick said thank you to me as he walked by me after the boathouse show i just kinda murmered/squelled - if only i had said something more interesting! cmj, What was Patti Smith like? ive never listened to her music. was her live performance good?
