Ive got a cottage booked now. Its in Laugharne. Didn't really want to spend £60 a night, but i think its probably worth it to be in Laugharne.
Chloe, if you are staying in St Clears, then you are welcome to come to stay with me during the day if you need warmth and shelter!
The Welsh are so laid back though, no deposit! I can't wait now, i just hope there are no 80mph winds forcast... please be warm and sunny!

cool! where im staying is a small road off church street, which is what Ye Olde Farmers Arms is on. According to the owner, the Millenium Hall is literally 200 yards from where im staying and the Boathouse is about 5 minutes walk. And Laugharne has a supermarket (not sure how big it will be though!).

arww, patrick wolf! edward larrikin! dylan thomas' house! it's like a dream. I want to go so badly, but may have to go on my own and sleep on the beach to beable to. it sounds romantic a bit but also chilly. aw i probably won't beable to, this is awful, a weekend in wales would be too picturesque & lovely, and my two favourite music makers.. (anyone have a spare laugharne floor? )

Wish I was going to the Boathouse set now, but I'm bringing my boyfriend along, he doesn't quite "get" Patrick...it might be a little bit too much for him. But if anyone has a spare ticket, gimmieee! Jennyboop- there's a campsite in Laugharne! ;D

They are still on sale and not sold out ( on TicketWeb). Get One!!!! (or two if your boyfriend is coming!) And yes, there is a campsite, (actually numerous). I wonder if Patrick will be camping!

For those without a car: What is the best way to get from Carmarthen to Laugharne? Are there buses? Or does anyone know any cheap taxi services?
TOMORROW!

I think my friend went to this. I got a text message from her last night saying that she was in Wales and standing next to Patrick himself. *jealous*

That was fantastic!! SO GOOD. I can't remember the setlist v well but the first song was some kind of Brother John/Blackbird combo, then he played (in no particular order) Bluebells, Ghost Song, God Damn Damerus (sp?) (....new...and amazing!!!) , started to play Bargest but forgot the words, No Ghosts, WITW and the Shaddowsea...then after Ed's play (also amazing) he played On Sussex Downs with Ed, Pigeon Song (without a mic in the middle of the audience....ahhh) and Paris! (wish I'd gone to the boathouse set too tho ) Eeep, amazing. He looked v WITWish too. ;D EDIT: he also played a PJ Harvey cover, and the Stars

he was amazing in the boathouse he played (in no particular order) Land's End, half an a capella version of Godrevy Point (he forgot the words), Pumpkin Soup, Fall at the Feet of Rae with Ed (Larrikin Love song), and Ed and Patrick both read lots of wonderful poetry. I can't remember anything else they played...I'm sure it'll come to me later...oh I just remembered the Libertine
