Those are nice. They remind me of my Dr. Martens. Also: Fell in love with this blazer, but it is too large for erik. Need to find something with the same beautiful collars.

Much better idea! This is where I would make a Thelma and Louise reference if I had seen the film and was sure it was similar enoughOooh found these! But they're the wrong shape and the heel is too small

I found my Dr. Martens on eBay, actually. I think they were $70? Maybe a bit more or less. I've not had very good experiences buying shoes online, but with Dr. Martens you can just go to a shop and try some plain ones... Voila! You have your perfect size.
I get more compliments for them than pretty much anything else I own. They also make me about an inch taller. I would recommend them.

I'd really like some drainpipe or skinny jeans, but my legs are too long. Manufacturers / shops don't produce decent clothes for people with extra long legs.

In my opinion very few men pull of drainpipes. It's the tight crotch that scares me most, but I think you've got to have a certain type of leg, not too lanky and not too stocky. My boyfriend wouldn't be able to wear them as his legs are LONG and it would look silly. Find some nice fitted ones, what shops have you been in? Might be worth paying a bit extra for a perfect fit

Thanks, jadeface, you're probably right, but I can dream. Most men's jeans have inside leg measurement of up to 34inches. The odd one or two go to 36 inches, but with very small waist sizes only. I have 37.5 inch inside leg, and although my "waist / hips" are getting less, they're still too large. I am, afterall, only 3 weeks away from being 65, but age shouldn't matter. I was told at Evolution festival that I only look 50, which was a great compliment, and a guy in fantastic drainpipes told me that age should not be a barrier.

Manufacturers / shops don't produce decent clothes for people with extra long legs. I have this problem but reverse. My jeans are always too long.. at least I can cut or turn them up. Once I ordered a jeans from a catalogue that was in a special shorter size and it actually was shorter.. too short! eta: I'd love to have longer legs! ..not just because of jeans that would fit. It looks good.

I, too, have long legs and my skinny jeans are always between a centimetre an inch too short. Therefore when I'm going somewhere important I don't wear bright pink socks because they show. But most of the time I don't care.

But most of the time I don't care. The solution I found for this is to tuck your jeans into tall boots. It looks good too. =D

I really want this dress but have nooo idea where I would wear it. Apart from a New Romantic clubnight but I already bought 2 dresses for that. Still, I do have matching shoes, and it might be good for daytime wear with a top/skirt over it. I will have no money for rent by September

Fabric like that looks extra crinkly on me. Am I crinkly? Anyway you can totally tone that down to be casual, wear a long cardi with it or wear something over the top so it's like a skirt. Might give you more ways to wear it.

maybe I have to explain it a bit: common translation is Einhörnchen = squirrel but it could also be meant as Einhörnchen = small unicorn.. there's the joke.
