I want soft, cottony check shirts. I have one, in grey, that I bought a while ago and adore then one that I made which was WAAY too much effort to repeat. So I need some nice cheap ones that are warm and snuggly and go with everything colour-wise.
And I STILL need shoes!

I'm pretty skint at the moment so I've been stealing articles of my brother's wardrobe that he doesn't wear as he's at uni. They're all pretty enormous on me even though my brother's actually very skinny, but I don't mind. So far I've snaffled 2 polo shirts, a cricket jumper, 2 band t-shirts and his old Zutons hoodie which is immensely cosy. I intend to take more, possibly his "FCEK: the Irish Connection" shirt. I too still need shoes!

I want a hat with a pompom on top, but I can't find a good one. They only seem to come in bright colours.

ayla, i highly recommend constructing one yourself! buy a plain beanie hat and go ahead and make a pom pom yourself, search for instructions online and sew it on then you'll have an original homemade hat!

DM's are a shoe institution, they just wear out too quick for £70 I should know, I grew up in them.

here we used to have the factory, and had a discount DM shop. Sadly the factory moved to Thailand and I had to pay £80 for my current ones :@
Like you wanderer, I grew up in them.

I am VERY tempted by the for life idea. I've never had a pair, but that seems WORTH IT

DM's are a shoe institution, they just wear out too quick for £70 I should know, I grew up in them. i've never worn out a pair of dms - always melted the sole back together and stuff like that. they're a bitch to break in so no way in hell were they getting binned when they could be fixed! also, they do 'for life' dms - store.drmartens.co.uk/p-4698-dr-martens-1460-forlife-boot.aspx£110 & they will replace them for the rest of YOUR life (e.g. proper lifetime) as opposed to a guestimated 'product lifespan' which 'for life' normally means evidently anyway, my instep's too high now to fit women's dms comfortably. wowe, that's indeed a nice deal! I've never heard of peolple complaining about doc's wearing out to quickly... that i was always told is that these boots will surely stay with you for a couple of years. I got myself some 14-eye boots for 65 pounds (thanks to two kinds of discounts), but never realised how lucky i must've been with that deal, huh...? i want another one of that long sleeve shirt i got two years ago from divided, H&M... it's green, kinda skinny and looks like it's done with two kinds of material involved into each other. really nice! but it's so thin, too, so it's got a million holes in it... i still like it, even the way of breaking seems nice to me; unfortunately some people, like my mum, keep complaining about it...

i want rodarte's line for target.
i've been looking forward to it all year and the lookbook images are amazing but i'm not sure its gonna happen for me cause 1) it goes on sale the monday after i leave for INDIA!!!!!!! and will probably be all sold out by the time i return at the end of january (spare the xxl and hideous belts and shit) 2) there was a pop-up Target store in san francisco (and new york and chicago) december 10-14 or something like that which was advertised to be selling the rodarte line. so i went, i was stoked, but the "store" was just a box with window displays where you could look at the products, you couldn't actually try the shit on or feel the fabrics or anything. and they only had two looks -- only one of the items i wanted. so yeah, BUMMER.
