Well Luke requested one on Alice's birthday thread, and I also think it would be a fun idea.
I did the Wolfboard Awards 2006 in about November/December last year to a so-so response from the forum at large so I thought you all probably though I was a saddo, but it's been mentioned on msn that it would be fun to do one now everyone knows each other better in the post MSN party/meetup era.
So yeah, tell me if it's a good idea. I'll probably kick it off at he start of June if y'all approve and want to contribute, and give you all the whole of that month to vote via pm.
The second purpose of this thread is that if you think it's a good idea, it would be cool if people could suggest any categories I didn't think of last time you think would be good.

I'd suggest some new categories but I don't remember what the categories from last year were. And as you can tell I didn't really participate during those ones because I was still new.

I think the categories I'd suggest would probably be
Overall Poster Of The Year Best 'new' Poster (the best poster to start regular postage in the last six months) Funniest Poster Best Looking Poster (male) Best Looking Poster (female) Most Intelligent Poster Most Helpful Poster Nicest Poster Best Thread
etc etc and possibly also non-forum music/film/tv type categories
Like
Best act Best album Best Single Best Film Best TV Show etc...
It's work best if people treat the forum orientated awards as a bit of fun and don't take these seriously as some sort of grim popularity contest..

I had just arrived last time you did this and I remember there being a best biscuit category. That was awesome.

I had just arrived last time you did this and I remember there being a best biscuit category. That was awesome. fox's cream crunch or tunnock's caramel wafer, blatently ...or did you actually vote for someone on the forum as best biscuit? if so, that's possibly genious
