this song is played at least one time a day, along with EMPRESS
another one of my favorites. this one *paris* has taught me the beauty in everything...such a melody that can literally change my moods during its play <3

paris kind of lifts you up - makes you happy and determined to put your best foot forward.
really want to go to Paris with friends - visit the obscure sites (like that one) (done the bigger ones before) and go to jazz bars in the evening, listen to pink martini and just chill out.

i like the contrast of london with paris on the album. i really like the changes from traditional french music then to violins then the explosion of wolf-folktronia haha
an excellent song for sure

That's the "lady", I think... Ah wow, thanks for that! Always fun to learn a little more about your favourite song Paris was one of the first pw songs I heard and it is definitly one of my favourite if not my ACTUAL fav pw song. Its always the first song I play to people who havnt heard Patrick before. Another of my favourite pw songs is Wind in the wires which was the very first pw song I heard. Stil sends shivers down my spine every time I listen to it even though Ive heard it hundreds of times. Sign of one fantastic song I say

It is my favourite song. I've made countless people listen to it.
I love how there's different stages to it, it works beautifully. The lyrics kept me thinking positive for such a long time.
I have to go listen to it now!

Lovely bit of trivia there. I'm now very tempted to make a visit to that cemetary. Possibly in the rain, with this song playing in my ears.

Hi everyone, I'm new to Patrick's music, but I hope there is someone here who could answer this question - whose are backing vocals in 'Paris' ? Or is it Patrick's voice?
Cheers!

Not sure, but it sounds like him. Any backing vocals he's ever had (as far as I recall) have been female.

Thanks, it confused me because the voice is much deeper, but these days it can be arranged of course

Isn't kind of funny that Patrick got his last name from the spirit medium? I think it's kind of fake, and so does my sister.

I listened to it four times on the train this morning... My second favourite song by Mr Wolf. Godrevy Point is of course at the top of my list.
