I looked that up a week ago or so, and still have yet to find a web situation to use it in.
I did slip it into a phone conversation yesterday, but it seems to have gone unnoticed.

Just got my results and I was pleasantly suprised and so I think I might re-apply to Kings College or UCL, London to do Philosophy.
But the costs of living in the Capital are making me shit myself already. However I have held down a place in Dartington College of Arts (if anyone you know it) and I can't wait.
It's essentially one big adventure-playground-art-commune in the middle of a field in Devon. Hope to study Creative Writing and Sound Practices (Music Technology) but I'll worm my way into the full-Music course somehow.
Oh did I mention Dartington is only 20 minutes away from Teignmouth?

I only have 25 days left in my crappy town, and then i move to Exmouth, Devon! Yay! I'm studying music but I might do French aswell.
I hope all you guys that got your A level results last week did okay. And if you didnt, don't worry, it doesn't mean you can't go to uni. I'm going and my A level results were shocking.
Also, I really wanted to go to Caterbury, but now I'm going to Plymouth and I actually prefer it, so if you dont get your first choice dont worry because you never know, you might actually really love somewhere else.

My Dad lives there. I used to work in the powder monkey (gaaaah- wetherspoons). There's a cute little music shop called the onion and the sweetest guy I've ever met runs it. He looks a bit like Moby and he's has fantastic music taste. You should befriend him. I had a nice summer there actually.

Totally, right? Actually, I'm about to take an Advanced Calculus class this semester. It's been... awhile, since I took Calculus 3. But I found my book, so now I'm going to relearn all the derivation and integration rules. FUN TIMES.
Actually, I oddly am in love with taking derivatives. And also proving Trig Identities. That is my idea of a good time. Oh, buddy. Let me tell you.

i only just found this thread and i just wanted to question anyone studying english on here. i got 6 As at AS level (2 were a joke though - critical thinking and general studies - we are forced to do them). anyway my english grades for the papers were really weird - 2 were full marks and then one was a C. all my year seem to have done really badly so i guess they will get remarked.
i was wondering if those grades were good enough to do english literature as a standalone subjects - any thoughts/advice would be wonderful as i'm shitting myself about applying/my personal statement.
to any university students: good luck. just throw yourself in at the deep end. don't call parents/other friends on the first night as you will just wish you were with them. when i first went to boarding school (tender age of 13 and all that) i was completely miserable for the first couple of nights until i joined in. now i love it. try and take your mind off your misery by getting really involved/completely wankered. have fun.
