I imagine living in Iraq would be a lot more scary.
My main thought on terrorism is anger that the people in power would put us in that sort of danger by stampeding over to the middle east killing a load of innocent people and destablising everything for whatever fool hardy reason. They are surprised sections of the Islamic world are pissed off and want retribution why?

I know. I've basically opted myself out of karma. It's pretty beautiful.

They are surprised sections of the Islamic world are pissed off and want retribution why? They started it. Slightly nervous, given the fact that I work in a train station on one of the busiest streets in one of Britain's biggest cities, but they've already 'done' Glasgow, it would seem. Cheerio, Michael. xxx

we've had our era of terrorism here in Belgium in the 80's. And since some of the European Unions Headquarters, as well as the N.A.T.O.'s are here, it's quite incredible nothing more has happened, or leaked. Not so long ago the French had their share too, with the Vigipirat measures to "prevent" bombings. When I first went to the UK in 1993, I was surprised to see those warnings at bus-stops saying you should alert the authorities about parcels and luggage that were unattended for. Now we have them here too note: urgh, I'm aware my english is getting a little "poor" these days due to all that french reading, due to my working on my dissertation

I thik it was really only a matter of time till it all kicked off again, im just really glad no ones been hurt. But yeah its pretty terrifying when it hits your home town.
i remeber lots of whispers and rumours about the shopping centres being hit here last christmas, i really dont know how much truth there was in it all, but it was still scary nonetheless

in bristol a while ago they evacuated a whole massive shopping mall because someone had left their shopping bag on a bench
and even in stroud (smallish town in gloucestershire) someone saw a black box in the top corner of a telephone box and called the police because they thought it was a bomb....it turned out to be an air freshener haha they'd called out the army people with their bomb dettonator and everything and cornered off all the streets around it

My biggest worry is that concert for Diana. Thats on Telly Live tonight. I'd hate it if something happened too Duran Duran. Let the Terrorists have Joss Stone. Just let us have our duran duran and elton in one piece.
I saw footage of the bomb going off at glasgow airport that was scary.

It's obviously not a coincidence that these plots have happened less than a week after the change in Prime Ministers. I actually said to my mum that if I was a terrorist this would be the best time to attack.
Thank god the plots failed, otherwise can you imagine the chaos? I don't think anyone ever thought there would be a scare in Scotland.

My mom said that too.. I didn't even know that they had changed Prime Minister. I was worried, that my mom would cancel our trip to London in august.. but she didn't, yay!

They're fucking stupid as well.
People coming out of nightclubs have nothing to do with the Government. And to be brutally honest, it makes no difference to the Government if those people die. They're safe with their 24 hour Police protection.
If the terrorists weren't a few sandwiches short of a picnic they'd get that. All they do now is play into the Government's hands.

I actually said to my mum that if I was a terrorist this would be the best time to attack. right you are my number one suspect right now. the nightclubs were to be blown up because clubbers are 'slags' apparantly

The drugged up, legless cockney slags are supposed to personify or symbolise the whole idea of "culture" in the western world.
Personally I feel a bit miffed and insulted. If anything, blow up the Big Brother house. Hopefully they'll catch Davina and her massive nose in the blast.
