i don't even know what data cds ARE! i'm down to my last 10 dollars at the moment...and i can't go out and buy any other kind of blank cds, unless of course the person who i have wants to wait until the end of the month for their stuff? the problems of having a volunteer job.

No, you just use CD-Rs and use a computer program that puts Mp3 files onto a CD. You can't listen to a data CD on a CD player, but you can load it into a computer and then listen to the files. Data CDs can fit about three times as much music on them.

I think that it'd be best if everybody just uses CD-R's and burn them as audio cd's. I think it's easisest for sender (you don't have to choose a million songs) and reciever (won't have to mess around with the computer). Of course, it's up to each and every person to send as many cd's and other stuff as they like. I just don't think EVERYONE will send a bunch of 'em. So, go go go fill those CD-R's. /t

I doubt I can be bothered to listen to a whole mp3 CD through. And it'll have those devilish tags on them, so everyone will know what the songs are...

I wouldn't be able to listen to it straight through, either. Good point. Over a few days though, I think I would be able to. It's alright, despite my begging to differ, I will relent. I'll make an audio CD.

I'm probably going to change the tags, so you don't know what they are! Maybe I will title them all Patrick Wolf songs?

I am a perfectionist when it comes to tagging songs.

That's evil! I am a perfectionist when it comes to tagging songs. Oh but sorting the music collection so all the tags are perfect is about as much fun as there is to be had in this world.

Besides, you know, maybe alphabetizing spices in one's pantry or organizing one's closet by color.
I know someone who does the latter. And she wears the clothes in alphabetical order by name of color.

I let my music do what it wants. It's an unruly bunch, don't want to get involved with that.
