wait, what. it told me it costs like, 10 dollars to send across the sea. that's a lot... anyone have any idea if that is correct? i'll def do it if it isn't more than 5 dollars... i've got blank cds so don't factor that in.

I'm in. hooray! Why don't we try to match up people from the same country, too? I don't know if you planned on doing that or not, but it would be a really smart idea.

I've sent a CD to England before, and while I can't remember the exact price, I remember it was less than ten dollars but probably more than five. Prices will be more expensive if you are sending something further afield, or bigger or heavier etc etc.

I think, if this is a sucess, we should do more exchanges. Holiday cards, perhaps?

I don't know if you planned on doing that or not, but it would be a really smart idea. aww that's no fun, i'd like it to be more spontaneous and by limiting whom i get to be someone from the same country is lame. AS much as I love Victoria, there's only two of us in Canada (well then there are a few more but not really active in the common room section). Anyhow, I'm partial to the Europeans because they're awesome? and for the record, Natalie sort of reviewed the cd that I sent her.

I think you'll actually get to listen to more interesting/new to you music if you don't match people from the same country.

I missed out on the other one, but am so in for this one then - making CD's is my most favourite job in the world. I second reviewing them too!
And consider the price of posting the price you would pay for the CD (or downloads) in the first place. You can fit, what, 18+ songs on a CD? That's more than more $5 or whatever. (we'll exclude illegal activities or Hype Machine trawling in this case).

My sister was just sent an album from California and it says the postage on the stcky stamp on the package - $4.20 Don't get your knickers in a twist over the postage - i'm sure it'll be cheaper than you expected. Also, i would like to be in on this but i don't have music on my computer - i'm a tape type person. there's nothing wrong with mix tapes! i wouldn't mind getting one! nay i'd love to get one!

yes, i was kind of hoping for some european bands i've never heard of. i like the other country kind of thing. and i figured the paying is fine because i will be recieving something in exchange. just hope i can make it to the mail box. it's quite far away. like, 5 miles far.
