I know you are making it seem ridiculous that Clinton was impeached for what he that, BUT, I find it really obnoxious when people say that that was the reason he was impeached. No, it was not. It was because he lied under oath. I find it ridiculous that us Americans care so much about our politician's private lives. I could care less who they sleep with. All I care about is how they lead the country. Welllll, yes. BUT the big deal was over the blowjob. That is still what I hear people talking about. Clinton and his awful blowjob. So immoral. Meh/

Because she is obnoxious. and broke the law. i mean, in a democracy, no one is supposed to be above the law, right? not even the president. but then, there's paris hilton. Yea, let's impeach Clinton for a blowjob from someone other than his wife, but let's not keep Paris in jail for driving drunk and then driving without a lisence. Or, perhaps, dare I say it, impeach the current office-holder for starting an illegal war based on false intelligence that has cost billions of dollars and thousands of lives? No? Anyone?

Not under the supreme court. Those are only cases concerning interpretation of the law, disagreements between states, and other such things. My uncle went to the Supreme Court once and won money.

Misdeamors! doesn't that fall under those categories?

My mom says he is weird. I know he got it on the first appeal. It had something to do with his employers.

but then, there's paris hilton. I think a lot of people are angry because it's Paris Hilton, rather than because she was released early. She was only driving when she wasn't supposed to be; she didn't kill anybody. And she is still under house arrest. Cheerio, Michael. xxx

It's kind of outrageous because average people would NEVER get out early for that. It's pretty much a laugh in the face of the justice system.

I think the military has been working on that for awhile. Nice waste of time and money.
Why can't we just throw flowers at people instead? That is a lovely alternative to guns that could spread both peace and smiles.

If everyone's saying she should be treated like normal people and go to jail then she deserves to be treated like a normal person inside jail too. And not be threatened with stabbings because she's rich or be afraid to eat in case guards take pictures of her on the loo.

I do feel bad for her a little, but really, don't try to get out of it. She is so many young girl's role model and she should set a good example. I don't really feel all that bad about how she is treated because she is a celebrity, I mean, when she put herself into the public's eye, she HAD to have some idea how the public can respond to celebrities at times. Unless she was a caveman, but she still would be on those geico commercials. I think we have more things to worry about regarding to how people are treated in America's jails than how Paris is being treated. At least she wasn't the lady who was handcuffed in her cell when she was having her baby in prison and allowed no medical assistance at all.

No, I definitely think she has a certain responsibility as a celebrity not to offend in the first place and if so to do your time like everyone else. I just think it's sad that people are so willing to exploit others to get a quick buck. And if that thing about the woman is true, then that makes the state of woman prisons tripley sad. I find they are often over-looked when it comes to government funding and stuff like that.

It is most certainly true. Several states have laws now to prevent anything like that ever happening again. I'm an Amnesty Int. member and they have this big thing with improving women's prisons right now.
