I was considering mentioning Japan also. But though I do love so much of it. It's not enough to warrant a mention

I do enjoy a good noise band every once in a while (normally when I want to destroy my ability to hear), so I will check into those. Thanks.

GOOD! Death to eardrums everywhere.
And when Nobuo Uematsu was mentioned I put on "Those who fight further" from FFVII and and watching the hands on your avatar play as the keyboard solo bits play is immense fun...

I think that is stupid, but I also think it's the mother's fault, and I know everyone isn't like that. They are basing this on celebirities and the people who follow them, not the general population.

true you have people like Howard Zinn and Noam Chomsky put along side people like Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton, and I'm pretty sure the general population knows more about the latter two females as opposed to the former which makes the world quite a bleak place.

Of course people would know more about the latter. They are obnoxious, but I know that the majority of people I know don't like the girls as much as you or I don't. Yes, there are crazy self absorbed bastards, but I know liberalism and change in our society is on the upswing. I am not gung-ho America.. I think we do need a lot of changes, but I am also very sick of many, many very good people being included in generalizations about how bad we are.

Worst of all those in Africa when they think of the UN they think it is an American Institution, so they disregard it and as much as the UN fails at a lot of things they still try to help.

Again, you are assuming that absolutely everyone is making those generalizations about the middle east. I am not for this whole war, and at least 50% of the rest of the country is not. When half of the country disagrees with the other half it's not right to make a statement about it as a whole.
