More elaborate version for Pigeon Song e------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- B-----------0-----0---------------0----0------------0----0----------------0----0-------- G-------2------2---------------2----2-------------2----2---------------2-----2--------- D-----------------------2----------------------2-----------------2------------------------- A---0--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- E---------------------------0----------------------2------------------2----------------4-- I tried this version and I think it's really good! But the middle part "I have learnt..." is D, Am, E every lyrics-line and in the last line of the verse it's only D, E Then the "my way home..."-part is A, E, Gm (I think).

yet another way to play Pigeon Song:
F ------------- C --------------- Dm london, did you have to take my child away?
---- F-------------- C--------- Dm you buried him under rent and low pay.
--------- F-------- C--------------- Dm I've been cyling in circles round your empty streets.
-------- F----------------C------ Dm i've been searching in the pouring rain.
etc. =>
Bb------------------F--------A---------Bb I have learnt how it goes ------------------F------A--------Bb what you wait for never shows ---------------------------F--------A----------Bb and what you least wanted holds you down like a stone. ----------C just like a stone.
and the rest is like the beginning: F, C, Dm

This isn't a tab per definition, but I thought I'd put it here anyway. It's very rough. Might be in a different key than the actual cd track, different note values and... different notes Excuse my handwriting and my ugly notes. Also excuse my doodles - I just can't help it. I wrote the name of the notes too, so the ones that don't know mus. notation can use it. Please tell me if you have better ideas and improvements. It's really appreciated. (Especially I'd like some help with Ghost song - how to actually play that dropping tune.)

Here's a tab based on Sherazard's Epilogue transcription:
e|------------------------------------------------------------ b|------------------------------------------------------------ g|---------------------------0--------------0-------------0--- d|--------------------0--2----------0--2----------0--2------- a|--3--3--3--3--3-----------------------------0-------------- E|-------------------------------3----------------------------
(I noticed I had written Eulogy instead of Epilogue. How embarassing! I'm blaming the words - they're similar somehow.)

Heres a little treat for you folks. I promised it ages ago but never got round to it.
SOUVENIRS TAB
INTRO
EI-5-----5---2-----2--------------------2---7--2-----2----------------------- BI--------------5-----5-----------0---------------5-----5-----------5-------- GI-5----------------------0-ho-2-----2------0--------------4-----4-----4----- DI----0------2---------------------------------0--------------0--------------
bit approximate. But you get the idea.
VERSE
EI-------2--------2---------------2--------2---------- BI----0--------0--------0------0--------0-------0----- GI----------0------------------------0---------------- DI-2-----------------2------2-----------------2-------
EI-------2--------2--------------2--------2----------- BI----3--------3--------3-----3--------3--------3----- GI----------2-----------------------2----------------- DI-0-----------------0-----0-----------------0--------
this is also approximate. There are lots of flourishes that can be put in. Here are some examples.
EI-------5--------5---------------7--------7---------- BI----0--------0--------0------0--------0-------0----- GI----------0------------------------0---------------- DI-2-----------------2------2-----------------2-------
EI-------2--------2--------------2--------2----------- BI----5--------5--------5-----3--------3--------3----- GI----------2-----------------------2----------------- DI-0-----------------0-----0-----------------0--------
CHORUS
EI----------------1--------------------3-----------1--------1-----0-ho-1--------0-ho-1----------- BI-------1-----1--------------3-----3-----------3--------3----------------2---------------------- GI----2--------------------3--------------------------2------------------------------------------ DI-3--------3--------3--5--------5--------5--0-----------------0-------------0----------0--2-----
Again there are lots of variation in the fingerpicking and notes played. Be adventurous!
MIDDLE BIT
EI---2-------2------------------------------------------------------------- BI---0-------3------------------------------------------------------------- GI---0-------2------------------------------------------------------------- DI---2-------0-------------------------------------------------------------
Strum the chords of the verse.
END BIT
EI--3-----3--2-----2--0-----0------------------------------------------------------------ BI-----------------------------3-----3--0-----0--------------------------0--------------- GI-----------------------------0--0--------------2-----2--0-----0-----2------------------ DI--2--2-----2--2-----2--2--------------2--2-----2--2-----2--2-----3--------3--2---------

Here is a rough tab of Souvenirs. I figured this out in about an hour, and I wasn't listening to the song while I tried to figure out the chorus. So the chorus is probably off, as well as the tuning of the ukulele. This should get you all started, if anyone else is a guitar fiend, then they should be able to make corrections easily, have fun with it! Tuning is F C G E flat. You can mess around with the tuning; I do not know the exact tuning Patrick uses. Intro F-------------2-------------2-----------------2---------2------|--------------0----------0---------------0--------3------- C----0------------0-----------0-------0---------0---------0---|------3----------3---------3------3------- 3---------0--- G--------1-------------1------------------1----------1---------|----------3----------3---------------3--------0---------- Eb-2--------------------------------2---------------------------|---0---------------------------0------------------------- Repeat once, but only until the vertical lines. Then go down below, to the intro ending.
Intro ending F------------0----------0-----------------0---------0---------------0-----------0-------0---- C-----3----------3---------3------3----------3--------3------3---------3----------3-------- G--------3----------3-----------------3----------3---------------3----------3---------------- Eb--0--------------------------0--------------------------0------------------------------- All of the verses are the same as the intro.
Chorus F---------1--------1----------------3----------3----------------1---------1----------0>1--0>1-------------------------- C------------1--------1----------------3----------3----------------1---------1-------------------------------------------- G------3--------3--------3------5---------5---------5------3--------3---------3----------------------------------------- Eb--3------------------------5---------------------------0-------------------------------------------------------------
F---------1--------1---------------3---------3--------|--------1---------1-----------------1--------1------------------ C------------1--------1---------------3---------3-----|-----------1---------1-----------------1--------1---------------- G------3--------3--------3-----5--------5---------5--|-----3--------3---------3-------3--------3--------3------------- Eb--3------------------------5-------------------------|--0--------------------------0----------------------------------- Repeat again, only until the vertical lines. Go below, to the chorus ending. At the 0>1 bit, you can strum more than just the E string, I usually do G B and E for a bit of flavor. (But make sure you mash your finger down on the 1, or you won't be able to hear it ).
Chorus Ending F-----------1---------1--------1----------1---------1-------------1----------1----------1-------- C--------------1---------1--------1----------1---------1-------------1----------1---------------- G-------3----------3--------3---------3----------3------------3---------3----------3-------------- Eb---0-------------------------------------------------------0-------------------------------------- And then you repeat the verses and chorus again, you know, however the song goes. At the end, the strumming parts I do not know for sure. But my guess is that it goes something like this (after just finishing the last verse line): F------0-----0-----2-----0-----0-----0-----0-----0-----0-----0------ C------3-----0-----0-----0-----3-----0-----0-----0-----0-----0------ G------3-----0-----1-----1-----1-----1-----3-----1-----3-----1------ Eb-----0-----0-----2-----2-----2-----2-----2-----2-----2-----2------ You can figure out the strumming easy if you listen to the song (I recommend YouTube, a nice little video is there.) And the last chord: F-----2------ C-----0------ G-----1------ Eb----2------
Feel free to make any corrections, this is just a rough tab of the song. Make it your own, it will sound better!
