I know it's been asked for before, but anyone got anything for Ari's Song? It's such a beautiful cover.
All the tabs I've tried from this thread have been fabulous, and it's really embarrassing that I can't work any out for myself. As soon as I do, they'll be right up here.

All the tabs I've tried from this thread have been fabulous, and it's really embarrassing that I can't work any out for myself. As soon as I do, they'll be right up here. I've only been able to do a bit cus I'm a bit rushed for time, but so far I've got - Cm Ab Bb Sail away, sail away my little boy Cm Ab Fm Let the winds fill your heart with light and joy Ab Bb Cm Sail away my little boy Then that sequence repeats however many times, or something. There's lots of the Ab Bb Cm progression. Good luck ! I'll try and do the rest some time x I was just wondering if anyone has the chords (or even sheet music) for Tristan? I've been trying to make it work for my accordion but sadly I can't read tabs. Wolf Song is also hard to play in that respect. It's just G# - B - G# - F# in the bass so chords-wise I guess it's G#m B G#m F# That probably didn't help at all. haha x

Thanks for Ari's Song! I sort of had half the progression but couldn't work out the right key, if you see what I mean. Thanks so much! I also found this for 'Afraid' (I was having a bit of a Nico day). I can take no credit for it, but it's pretty comprehensive: smironne.free.fr/NICO/TABS/afrat.html

The chords are (I think): Eb Dm Gm F and chorus: Bb Gm F Correct me if I'm hideously wrong ! xx Thanks for this, I've been using yours as a basis (I am exalting you for this, though it probably won't seem obvious as your karma is going up and down like a jack in the box), I think the verse chords are right but the chorus I worked out differently. verse:d# d g f chorus: a# d# f a# d# d (I didn't bother with minor/major as he only seems to play the lower four strings and therefore not the middle note of the chord) Also, he tunes his guitar down to D (D, g, c, f, a, d). In the verse he changes at points in the song between playing it all in the open E shape at different positions (i.e. 1, 0, 5, 3) to the open A shape (8, 7, 12, 10). Though sometime he also mixes between them playing the higher d# and d and the lower g and f. Also the violin riff goes roughly like this on the now high d string: -1-8-7-5--0-8-7-5--1-3-8-7-5--2-8-7-5 For anyone who wants that in notes the notes are: d# a# a g d a# a g d f a# a g f a# a g I worked this all out from youtube videos so may well be different from the album version, if he plays it differently live. Also some of it's probably wrong and I'm not sure if any what I have written makes sense (it's late and I'm tired), so please correct me if there are mistakes/ask what on earth I'm rambling on about.

Definitely agree with most of that, but I got the chorus as Bb (or A# or whatever), Gm, F Bb, Gm, F And the violin riff on the third line is 'D Eb Bb A G' as opposed to 'D F Bb A G' But who knows? I like this game.

Yes, your right about the violin riff. From watching this youtube video (in HD which gives very good quality!) :http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H6UmUnsKO78&feature=channel I have decided that Patrick tunes his guitar D, a, d, f#, a, d, unlike what I previously said. This means that he can just play the bars rather than full chord fingering, the lazy bugger! Oh and I now think the chorus is just A#, D#, D repeated. I like being able to discuss tabs/chords with people as I can normally work out bits on my own but I'm never good enough to get it all right!

Ha ha! Patrick is indeed a lazy, lazy man, ha haaa. Looks like we'll never agree on the chorus! I know, same! It's great

Yeah, it doesn't look like we'll agree about the chorus, though from that video it does look like he is playing d# and d providing I've got the tuning right.
I'm also trying to work out damaris, I've done the violin riff and most of the chords but can't work all of them out.

That sounds good, I had most of the chords worked out but not the F in the bridge. Also I though the G in the chorus was a Em, probably as they both have a g and b in them. I kept wanting the verse to have more chords in but I've realised that it just doesn't!
Also the violin riff is:
c b b a a c b a b c b b a a g g f f e e
Oh and at the very beginning the violin plays:
e g d g a a g e

TOO GOOD. Love it. Thanks! You welcome. joshuajoel, I haven't seen any dulcimer tabs about. I don't play it myself but me or other people might be able to give notes and chords for you. Any particular songs you wanted? Also, out of curiosity, how is an appalachian dulcimer usually tuned?
