Most awkward date? Rhi and Yellowbelly.. I imagine that would be awkward for everyone involved. In fact I feel awkward and just a little bit innappropriate suggesting it. Rhi seems a really pleasant person to me. What I seem to her, I know, is a different matter. Depending on one's interpreation of the word "Date", I could see me having a good time with someone like Rhi. I wonder what her music tastes are (excluding Patrick). Mine are very varied, from Classical music, through singer songwriters like PW - Joni Mitchell, Stef Bos, Herman van Veen, through Post Hardcore, to Hardcore Punk. Currently I'm listening to The Amity Affliction. I don't know much about Aylebury, been there a few times, but would do my research beforehand.

Thank you, all you wonderful people, especially irrelevant for starting the thread. (I'm sorry I don't know real names yet). I've not had the best of days. but considering the plight of many my problems pale into insignificance. A coil spring broke on my car. Hopefully it will be repaired by tomorrow evening so I can drive down to Blakeney in Norfolk to visit my sisters. If not then I'll just have to wait until next week.
I'm looking forward to meeting you all (those who are going, that is) at the Bush House gig. I can't wait to see Patrick live.
As for cake, I took biscuits and chocolates to my evening class at Leeds College of Art tonight, including some Swiss Bieber Cake. It all went down well. I had a couple of Chocolate and Orange biscuits which was a bit of a waste as I have no sense of smell, so could only taste the chocolate.
I hope you all have a fantastic summer. Patrick Wolf is awesome.

The PW mailing said they went on sale at 10am, not 9am as on page 1 of this thread, so count myself as lucky to get one. The Bush Hall site: www.bushhallmusic.co.uk/HTML/concert-listings.htm says they go on general sale on 17th, but the PW mailing says the 18th. I am really looking forward to this, absolutely, without question it will be a fantatstic event, and I'll be able to meet you all. I'll stick out like a saw thumb, very tall, specs, and by then 65, although people tell me I look younger.

I just hope I get one, as it will be the first time seeing PW in the flesh (as opposed to on YouTube). I'm sure it will be well worth the journey to London, and Travelodges are quite cheap in August atm.
I've set up the account all ready for ordering the ticket, but found one question difficult to answer:
Do you want to join the Patrick Wolf mailing list? Yes or No.
As I'm already on it I put No, as I read somewhere that it messes up the system if you re-join when you're already on it. By No, I didn't mean I wanted to come off.

Hello again in my case. Decided to have an avatar, which is an Elephant Hawkmoth which I caught in my light trap last year. Once I'd taken photos of it I released it alive into the long grass in my garden away from prying birds.

Thanks for the re-assurance, Jay.
I really do want to go to this, to see Patrick live for the first time.

I must try to get a ticket for Bush Hall. I signed up for the mailing list some months ago. The last mailing I received was on April 6th., so hopefully I'm still on.

I'm sorry to be so pathetic that all I want to do is wish him a happy birthday, a fantastically happy birthday, and continued good health and happiness for him and his family and friends. I am likely to be parted from my PC on June 30th, so I'll say it again or tweet him on 25th

Sorry, almost totally irrelevant to this topic but I've just noticed that Anna's location is Lincoln. I grew up there and go back to visit my sisters for birthdays, at Christmas, and for odd things like the Lincoln Internatonal Chamber Music Festival.

Thanks, jadeface, you're probably right, but I can dream. Most men's jeans have inside leg measurement of up to 34inches. The odd one or two go to 36 inches, but with very small waist sizes only. I have 37.5 inch inside leg, and although my "waist / hips" are getting less, they're still too large. I am, afterall, only 3 weeks away from being 65, but age shouldn't matter. I was told at Evolution festival that I only look 50, which was a great compliment, and a guy in fantastic drainpipes told me that age should not be a barrier.

I'd really like some drainpipe or skinny jeans, but my legs are too long. Manufacturers / shops don't produce decent clothes for people with extra long legs.

Getting sunburnt on Monday. Have put witch hazel on it and it's slowly improving. I had sunblock with me but just forgot to put it on. Will know in future. Don't want to go out n the sun until it's cleared up, so doing work at PC.
